I have said it many times - Use a song that everybody knows for the intro song when they come running out. Nobody wants to hear some compiltation of guitars and loud noises. Don't try and be creative - do what works like:
Va Tech - Enter Sandman
Iowa - Back in Black
I have said the same thing for the past 10 years when we play BC. Why are they always so much faster than UND? It wasn't by a huge amount on Saturday but on that flurry of goals their guys were spinning our guys in the ground with moves, etc. Pretty much every time they play UND they win with speed.
Let's remember, it was a soft commitment for all 3 schools who were recruiting him, not just UND. NDSU and their fans would have been ecstatic to get his "soft commitment".
No. I was replying that UND is still in the poll at #24 contrary to what Dan said about them dropping out. Also, that Bohl seems to be pretty interested in the polls since he took time out of his press conference to vent out about them while Kolpack was nodding his head approvingly.
Why was Bohl so worked up this week about the poll - they moved up to #6? Is he more worked up about them dropping to #12 or UND being in the poll? Seems if he was mad about dropping to #12 he would have vented last week when Jeff asked him.
Did "Pom Poms Kolpack" really go on the radio now to discuss this? What is his endgame in all of this - why is a Bison sports writer so worked up about this to the point where he is writing blog articles, tweets, and talking on the radio about it?
You missed this one right after that:
"@FGOSPORTSWRITER my theory as the "San Diego State" beat writer: some voted for North Dakota thinking it was North Dakota State."
What will be interesting to see is if a certain councilman benefits from this move by taking over the liquor sales at the Alerus Center. They are going to have to hire a local bar or liquor store to supply the beer/alcohol and also run the operation. The Bismarck Civic Center does that to get around the law. They have Captain Jacks supply it and then get 55% of the take.
If the entire student section and the entire band is a small minority then yes, you are correct. Those two groups can be pretty loud during a basketball game.
Also, a couple years ago both the NDSU student section and the Band both broke out in separate "Sioux Suck" chants during a basketball game. They were playing Oakland.
