Must have waited to shower at hotel.

Omaha must have been in a hurry to get out of town. I left arena right after game. Did get caught by train for maybe 10 minutes, grabbed a couple diet Cokes at Valley Dairy and was on the highway by a little after 10 and the Omaha bus passed me at the Halstad exit....did they even shower?

Things can change but that is how it shakes down now. Had to flip Minnesota and WMU to avoid first round conference matchup for both. Everything else just lays out naturally at the moment. NCHC has 1 #1 seed, 2 #2 seeds, 1 #3 and 1 #4. Having 3 teams seeded at 2 and 3 means they have to be in 3 different regionals

Current pairings are pretty cut and dry. Sioux Falls SCSU, UND, Minnesota, and Canisius Allentown Cornell, Denver, Penn State, and Northeastern Worcester Clarkson, Ohio State, Western Michigan, and Boston College Bridgeport Notre Dame, Mankato State, Providence, and Nebraska-Omaha On the Bubble UMD, Miami, Bowling Green, Bucky, NMU, and Colorado College Would have 5 NCHC teams in right now and the other 3 are in the top 21.

I think that was the benefit of Drick in that he could score a little down low and from mid range. He also saw the floor well and has a high basketball IQ. I have watched Wazzu a couple times this year and many times they rotate and run their offense through him at the top of the key. Being able to use Geno at the 1 or 2, Stewart at the 1,2 or 3, Seales at the 3 and 4 if we go small and using Drick at the 3,4, and 5, Jones at the 4 and 5, and Avants at the 5 would have changed the look of this team quite a bit and given us much more flexibility. Drick was the Swiss Army Knife.

Top 2-3 are pretty even. Summit is a little better from 4-8 and doesn't have a 9-12 too drag them down. Travel and playing on the road in the Big Sky is much tougher. The road trips are hellacious.

Heard he lost or broke a couple teeth and apparently hurt his shoulder as well.

I could be wrong, but I thought this decision was made on a year to year basis. If the conference champion is in a position where they would make the playoffs they can take the playoff bid and let their bowl game slide to the next team?

I have 2 tickets in section 106 that I might be willing to part with. Tickets are in Fargo. $40 for the pair. Message me here or text me at 701-238-7384.

On another note. Can we thank the U.S Women's team extortion of US Hockey for the horrendous advertising patches the U20 men's team uniforms?

Made it to the top of my feed again. Still subpar.

Davies outshoots West Fargo tonight 74-9 but West Fargo some how hung around and kept it somewhat respectable losing 4-1

Everyone is playing for first. Difference between wouldn't make the playoffs and not being allowed to make the playoffs. They do use criteria. 7-4 Northern Arizona makes the playoffs to compete for 131st while 9-2 McNeese State stays home.
-
Sure. That's not the point. At the end of the day we are playing in a level below 130 FBS teams and are essentially playing for 131st place. Like I said I am fine with that distinction but it seems you are not. Hell, I see Class E teams in softball sometimes beat Class C teams but when it comes state tournament time, the C teams are still playing for the C title and the E teams are playing for the E title which is about 45-50 spots lower on the totem pole.
-
We are in the field for national titles in every sport we offer except for football where we and the rest of the FCS division are competing for 131st place currently. I am alright with that but I can see how some people might not be.

I think the Central shootout went 8 rounds. I was worried they were going to get to the backup goalies! I think they need to adapt the rules in high school if they are going to use the shootout. 3 from each team and if not decided, then sudden death but after each team has used 5 shooters they need to allow them to re-use shooters. Kunz was injured in first period(broke a couple teeth I heard) and I think he played a little after that but wasn't around for the shootout and Davies best shootout player(Stibbe) picked up a 5 minute major with about 7 minutes left in the game so he wasn't available. Red River's first and 14th shooter scored and Davies 3rd shooter scored.
-
Just leaving Scheels arena after the Davies v Red River game. Good game, not much separation between them. Red River wins it in the 14th round of the shootout....yes 14th round.
-
I think we do a pretty good job of running our offensive sets and creating 1 on 1 mismatches and a team needs to play the style that best suits them and we don't rebound well enough to be able to push the ball up the court so I would like to see this style of play continue.

If these were building blocks then this SDSU 99 UND 63 was a category 10 hurricane

Not disagreeing with that. And I didn't single anyone out, but over the last couple years there have been several instances of smug condescending arrogance towards other programs in these threads that in the past was reserved for Gopher Hockey and Bison football fans.
