  2. Some mocks have him going late first, but I understand what you are saying. Mishmash went 61st. So 2017 had 2 Blue Chippers at the time they committed to college in Casey Mittelsteadt and Josh Norris and 3 others who can now be considered Blue Chip Recruits in Poehling, Oettinger, and Bowers. 2018 looks to have 5 in Tkachuk, Hughes, Wahlstrom, Farabee, and Samuelsson. I guess when I see 30-35% of NHL rosters being made up of College players I have a lower standard of what I consider a top end recruit I guess?
  3. So only players who are considered guarantee first round picks at age 15-16 are Blue Chip recruits? So essentially 4-5 players per class in hindsight and maybe 1 or 2 per class when they commit.
  4. So potential first round picks who can choose to go to any college are not blue chippers? Kids considered in the top 20-25 in their age group in the U.S. or Canada(i.e., are consistently picked for their country's world teams and elite camps) are not blue chippers? Help me out?
  5. Well, this class was considered a top 5 class and 2019 and 2020 are at or near the top of the rankings so don't think it has gone dry? 2018 might be a mixed bag with Scheel, Tychonick, and Hain all elite players and 3 over age guys in Weatherby, Keane, and Senden 2019 is looking pretty good with Donovan, Frisch, and Caulfied all being elite players and Costello and Bernard-Docker still developing and Randklev could be a huge get in that he is a 4 year guy and will bring some of same qualities as Evan Trupp with a little more scoring touch. 2020 is looking to be a ridiculous class right now with Kleven(#1 rated 2002 kid in the country) and Kunz(top 5 2002 forward in the country), Ethan Bowen is an elite prospect, Reid is considered one of Canada's top 17 year old D-men, Blaisdell is considered one of Canada's top players in his age group and Mancinelli is considered a pretty good prospect as well. Pinto is hard to gauge due to league he is in but has done well at elite camps. Blue Chippers Tychonick Frisch Donovan Kleven Kunz Bowen Borderline Blue Chippahs Hain Caulfield Blaisdell So bringing in 5 to 8 in next 3 years plus Randklev. I think most programs would roll the dice with these guys.
  6. Yep. I would take a kid who is a winner every day.
  7. Faison messed up the timing on the Jones extensions and if it had been handled correctly he would be in final year of contract now. I love Bubba, but he is going to have to own the 2018 season under any circumstances. His recruits, his coaching staff. Any issues of talent shortfall or depth issues can not be accepted as excuses but should be looked at as issues within the overall program at this point.
  8. How would Boeser, Schmaltz, Jost, T. Poolman and Wolanin look as a power play unit?
  9. Girls Fastpitch is a sport that is booming in this area and all across America. I would guess that girls who play have aspirations of playing Division 1 and in North Dakota we have 2 Division 1 programs. Of the 38 girls on the UND and NDSU rosters last season there was 1.....yep, 1 girl from ND made her way onto the NDSU roster, 0 at UND.
  10. “It was a program we grew up idolizing,” said Lamoureux-Morando, a volunteer assistant who had hoped to be a full-time coach at the university when her playing days are over. “My dad played there. My brothers played there.”.....so we went to Minnesota

    2018 Season

Look at Georgia next year at QB. They have Fromme back as a Sophomore. Jacob Eason, as a junior who was a 5 star recruit and started last season and was to be the starter this season until injured. And for good measure they are bringing in Justin Fields, a 5 star dual threat QB considered the #1 incoming freshmen player in America.
  12. Burke jumped to UTEP, then Tulane and is now at Iowa. Hickman is still at Mizzou. Leonard jumped to SMU and is now the Athletic Director at Towson State. Sadler is head of Arizona Sports and Tourism

    2018 Season

Maybe we can get Jalen Hurts or Jake Eason as a drop down transfer?
  14. 6 figure salary! xxxx.00
  15. Must have waited to shower at hotel.
  16. Omaha must have been in a hurry to get out of town. I left arena right after game. Did get caught by train for maybe 10 minutes, grabbed a couple diet Cokes at Valley Dairy and was on the highway by a little after 10 and the Omaha bus passed me at the Halstad exit....did they even shower?
  17. $70 for the pair. Tickets are in Fargo. Call or text 701-238-7384
  18. Had a solid sophomore season and stalled after that
  19. SCSU-1 UND-2 Denver-2 WMU-3 UNO-4
  20. Things can change but that is how it shakes down now. Had to flip Minnesota and WMU to avoid first round conference matchup for both. Everything else just lays out naturally at the moment. NCHC has 1 #1 seed, 2 #2 seeds, 1 #3 and 1 #4. Having 3 teams seeded at 2 and 3 means they have to be in 3 different regionals
  21. Current pairings are pretty cut and dry. Sioux Falls SCSU, UND, Minnesota, and Canisius Allentown Cornell, Denver, Penn State, and Northeastern Worcester Clarkson, Ohio State, Western Michigan, and Boston College Bridgeport Notre Dame, Mankato State, Providence, and Nebraska-Omaha On the Bubble UMD, Miami, Bowling Green, Bucky, NMU, and Colorado College Would have 5 NCHC teams in right now and the other 3 are in the top 21.
  22. I think that was the benefit of Drick in that he could score a little down low and from mid range. He also saw the floor well and has a high basketball IQ. I have watched Wazzu a couple times this year and many times they rotate and run their offense through him at the top of the key. Being able to use Geno at the 1 or 2, Stewart at the 1,2 or 3, Seales at the 3 and 4 if we go small and using Drick at the 3,4, and 5, Jones at the 4 and 5, and Avants at the 5 would have changed the look of this team quite a bit and given us much more flexibility. Drick was the Swiss Army Knife.
  23. Top 2-3 are pretty even. Summit is a little better from 4-8 and doesn't have a 9-12 too drag them down. Travel and playing on the road in the Big Sky is much tougher. The road trips are hellacious.
