  1. You're somehow reading the future of a kid who's playing his freshman season. It's just you overreacting. If you think our pipeline has no high end players, you just haven't been paying attention, man. I'm sorry.
  2. I guess that would mean you'd need to define "only able to do anything good" because the 2019-2020 was pretty dominant before COVID with a bunch of players who.... wait for it, wait for it.... DEVELOPED... into a really good team. Collin Adams, Jordan Kawaguchi, Kierstad, Mismash all feel like guys who developed really well in their time here. I'd say two league titles and a conference tournament title are things that are "anything good". That group of kids developed over time and became an incredible team. Add in a few big studs, you got a pretty magical team. Give these kids time. It's insane how hard this fanbase swings. Absolutely blows my mind.
  3. Basically the past two pages of this thread. Dude's on here taking shots on a keyboard with little to no actually insight on the situation.
  4. Friday: Gaber Saturday: Senden
  5. None. He was fine tonight. This one is squarely on our lack of finishing.
  6. We've had one Saturday game that counts. I hate saying this, but we should have won that game tonight. Simply put, we can't bury the puck right now. It's hard to watch. Lack of forward depth is bearing fruit. Hopefully the do the 2021 Saturday bit tomorrow.
  7. You think that team isn't trying? Man, just have a frickin cocktail or take a nap or something. Sheesh.
  8. I have an idea... Saturday/Saturday regional. Frozen Four is Thursday/Saturday. Natty time
  9. Ok. Well, a couple of us explained why it could work out. But, to each their own.
  10. Ok. So, like I said, we're upset with our lines when we we lose, but then get upset when we shake up the lines.
  11. Buddy, we lost our shutdown line when Hainer went out. Their are trying combinations to see if we can get things going. Jammer and Sendo play a very significant scoring role on this team. Two hard forecheckers with Calder, a good scorer, could actually work.
  12. So, what we're saying is that we'll complain about the lines during a poor run, and also complain when we change up said lines. Just making sure I summed that up correctly. Lol.
  13. Because our fanbase needs medication?
  14. Kunz Schmaltz Gaber Costantini Ford Caulfield Senden Jamernik Calder Portz Ness Albrect Sanderson Frisch Kleven Jandric Moore Ferner Johnson Driscoll Hellsen
  15. Interesting.... Paul Washe out. Violation of team rules.
  16. I mean, it's only been 3 games and only two counted. Ruts happen. I think the dramatic way we lost to Cornell was only exacerbated by some of our poor Fridays and drained the team for Saturday. Honestly, if we had won that game like we should have, I feel like there would be must less doom and gloom around the team right now. Hopefully we come out of it and I am confident they know how to get there.
  17. Har har har, Brian lol. One win!
  18. 2022 has not been super fun for this team, but we've seen what they can do when they are at their best. My glasses may be tinted green, but I recognize how solid WMU is this year. Oof. Call me an eternal optimist, but I think we get one tonight. Get everyone off the schide and feeling good about this team again! 4-2 good guys in green Juddy, Sandy, Moore, Jammer
  19. I was told Providence, but that was during the WJC.
  20. Sorry, buddy! I thought I touched on it, but more succinctly, like @AJS said, basically anyone from that '05 class is what I'm looking at and add Jackson Blake. Perron had everyone in on him. Blake definitely had Minny and Michigan. Strathmann, as pointed out here, fits your criteria. I am fine with the "criticism" that we should be getting a legacy guy like Blake no matter what, but the deal still had to get done. Plenty of kids, much like Perron, grew up wanting to go to a specific school and went elsewhere. Getting Perron is a big, big deal.
  21. A couple of wins against a Top 5 team should help, eh? Gotta be ready to go.
  22. Yep. Need to play well right away. No coasting into the weekend as the Broncs will blow us out of the water if we do.
  23. Been a bit quiet around here with how important this weekend is. Western is really frickin' good and after the mess that was Cornell followed by the COVID nonsense, this is a really important weekend up in Kalamazoo. What team shows up?
  24. Yeah, we get it, man. Simple observation stating that since the NHL is making the move it would make sense that the IIHF would do the same since they just had to embarrassingly cancel one of their biggest tournaments.
