Definitely some nuance, but consistency is a big deal in college sports. At its core, if a program is consistently over .500, they are AT LEAST in the mix. UND has been in the mix for 21 years. Totally understand there's more to that, but it's not a bad thing to be above .500 for this long. It really is quite impressive.

We'll be the visitor, so wherever the Wild shoot twice, I'd assume we'd shoot twice on the other.

We've beaten St. Cloud. DU is definitely the best team of the four remaining, but that absolutely does not mean we cannot beat them.

Yep. James grew up in the second half and the results are as clear as crystal. For all the bellyaching about lineup choices, making the coaches keep you in the lineup is what it's all about.

Solid fixture? Started the season top 4, playing 2nd PP unit. Slowly lost minutes and lost PP. Continued to turnover the puck consistently and pulled himself out of play. You could quite literally see the reason he was falling out of favor. All of that said, I'm just telling you what I heard from multiple people. Again, believe what you want. Exactly. If here was an issue bad enough to keep him off the ice other than his play, he wouldn't be around the team.

I've been told several times by multiple people that it's not an off ice issue. He just has not shown the ability to play defense and is at the bottom of the depth chart. Apparently he's still working hard and is being a solid teammate. Believe what you want, but sometimes the most obvious answer is the right one.

Because they are able to bring him and he's a part of the team. If he were a problem, he wouldn't be there. He's almost certainly not gonna play, but I'm sure his teammates love having him there. He's a good kid.
