  1. Go where? LOL
  2. It makes zero sense. It's a dive or it's a penalty.
  3. I'm legit not a guy that is one to blame the refs, but goodness it was bad. The faceoff violation penalty leading to a 5x3 goal is just so bad. The ref has to use better discretion. They wanted their spotlight and it was gross.
  4. On the road! Excited to see how we do against another really talented team. I was nervous playing the Gophers because of their top end talent and overall, I think we passed that test defensively. I hope we can do it again. Celebrini is really special. Hutson, too. Anyway, I am looking for a breakout weekend for Jayden Perron. He's been good so far, but I think he has a chance this weekend to really get going. Playing against Celebrini, his old teammate, should fire him up. I expect high-octane hockey and that's a game in which he can thrive. I think this weekend is a split, but I'm calling a win today. 5-3 UND Perron, Gaber, Pyke, Jammer, Strinden
  5. Of that caliber? Not really, honestly. TA is not a high end recruit. I hope the kid gets it going again, but the numbers don't lie. Regardless, I understand your overall point, but I wouldn't be overly concerned. Some kids don't hit. It happens.
  6. Boeser, for sure! Hak and Bubbs scooped him. Eaves paid the price for it, too.
  7. So, you'd rather keep a player who's underperforming? No, we find a new player to fill that spot.
  8. I legit, one time, commented that I knew that UND wasn't in hard on a particular player (because I was told that as a fact by two people) and words like "everyone" and "every time" get used saying we didn't want him. It used to be funny, but now it's boring and old.
  9. Exactly. I love legacy players as much as the next guy, but it's smart for the staff to let a guy go when he's not performing.
  10. What's the face for? I don't really understand. Players sometimes just don't develop like we hoped they would.
  11. Lol yep. Was just talking about that a few days ago with a buddy. It happens.
  12. Yep, you can.
  13. I use ESPN+ dang near daily as they offer a huge amount of NHL games and I've always had good luck with any game on there
  14. I took Baseball and Hockey. Baseball was us playing wiffle ball each session. Hockey, we just messed around. My wife took advanced walking 1 credit classes haha.
  15. That's why I said "a little" deeper lol.
  16. I told a buddy of mine that after game 1, the exact opposite in game 2 would happen, and I nailed it. Overall, I think Minnesota is a little deeper and their back end has more "talent", but I think our defensemen know how to play the game a bit more, namely because of seasoning. That's not discounting our freshmen because goodness Wiebe was good on Saturday. Livanvage was good, too. Lots and lots of plusses this weekend.
  17. Ugh, it's not 7 yet
  18. Boy, do I love this series. Once our roster started to take shape, I felt like we'd have a great shot at something special. Let's find out where we stand. UND uses the crowd and comes out flying. 5-2 win good guys. Blake, Gaber, Perron x2, Jammer
  19. Ugly colors?
  20. Fair enough, I'm thinking more about the guys they lost. Lots of big time players with experience in big time games. Plus, none of their D-corps played here. I'd say we have the experience factor, but it's not a massive difference, I can agree with that.
  21. GREAT stuff.
  22. Expanding upon that, looking forward to see how a guy like Persson handles this crowd. He's well seasoned, but this will be a different atmosphere than he's seen at the Ralph before. He's shown to be very calm and collected in nature and we need that big time. Need to lean on a guy like Pehrson on the backend to keep the boys calm and poised in the d-corps. Big minutes from him. As far as the forward group goes... absolute balls to the walls. I wanna see Johannes or Jammer blow someone up on the first shift. I bet the Triple J line starts the game.
  23. I think this is a great point. We are more senior in terms of games played, with Minny being rather young. I'd bet this will be the loudest and most raucous atmosphere a majority of their kids have ever played (I guess the same could be said for some of our transfers, too). Gotta come out hard. Man, if we pot one early...
  24. Lol in his defense, a lot of our opinions are based on anecdotal evidence, and so are his. All good. I get his point.
