  1. Correct.
  2. IALTO. It's such an apples and oranges comparison. Then they point to Iowa. Iowa is closer to NDSU/UND than they are Alabama haha.
  3. Ditto and I think he will, too.
  4. Reach out to the Alumni Association, CSG. They host things like this all the time and maybe you can help.
  5. Wolanin is a very, very talented hockey player. Has he struggled this year, at times, defensively? Absolutely. However, he absolutely has elite skills on the blueline, offensively.
  6. But you're the one who just used NDSU in your previous argument. Both them being in the Dance would be great for the region. Them meeting in the Summit finals would also be great for the region.
  7. Why? What do we owe NDSU? We are doing this for the betterment of UND, IMO. Save money, bring back rivalries, generate interest. So what if we are in the same conference as NDSU? It'll give us more opportunities to beat them. Also.... I may get yelled at for this.... BUT WHAT ABOUT HOCKEY?! UND is the flagship. Simple as that.
  8. I can see it as a recruiting theme. Kid from ND can see more of the country in a conference that isn't based around here? Idk lol.
  9. No, I know! That honestly wasn't a shot at you. I am just trying to figure out why people hate it.
  10. Hey, that's fair. I can see why that is attractive. However, I do see why having rivalries back and not needing to travel 800 miles all the time is best.
  11. That's fair, but I was thinking on it's effect for UND athletics as a whole. Not for individuals. That sucks, though, for you.
  12. HAHAHA right?! Hockey only crowd goes, huh?
  13. Right! Can anyone tell me why they DON'T like it, other than saying we have to deal with trolls (which does suck haha)?
  14. The rivalries alone make me love this. I don't really get why people hate this.
  15. Why? Can you explain this?
  16. I personally love this. Not going to read the whole thread, but what's the consensus about this? Do more people like this than not?
  17. Ok, thanks for clarifying. I must have missed that. Agreed on Shaw and Wolanin. I've loved what I've seen out of Peski and Johnson in the second half. ESPECIALLY with how bad they both were in the first.
  18. I think Colton has every chance to be a SOLID defensive defenseman. Shaw, too. Wolanin has the offense side down, but is becoming a liability defensively. That being said, these are ALL underclassmen. All of them have time to develop and saying their ceiling isn't very high is premature. Shaw is a former USHL d-man of the year and Wolanin is a draft pick. The talent is there. Also, no way to know about next year's d-men until they get here.
  19. Ahhhh got it. Makes complete sense. Good effort, Debbies.
  20. I don't know about you guys, I thought Peski was one of our best three defensemen this weekend. KId mad smart play after smart play.
  21. I agree on all points. A sweep would mean so much mentally and in the race, to this team.
  22. You don't think they were dominant against Omaha? I completely disagree.
  23. I agree with that. We've seen it against Omaha. This is a dominant team when it comes to play and we have more skill than them (not by miles, of course).
  24. I prefer my Mighty Ducks reference over your reference, but it's still good
  25. You think they had more facial hair?
