  1. I love it. Makes me happy to see some optimism around here.
  2. Of course, but the ones that are drafted are the ones specific NHL teams care most about. I guess I may be missing your concern.
  3. All things considered, bringing in a 2nd rounder (damn near a first) and two 5th rounders for this season is a nice influx of talent up front.
  4. Rizzo to the Canes at 216 Frisch, Rowe, Bast, Scheel, Budy go undrafted.
  5. 192 to Boston.
  6. On the plus, sounds like Blaisdell and Pinto are indeed those kinds of players.
  7. Judd Caufield 145 to the Pens
  8. Blaisdell to the Jets at 134.
  9. Moore to the Wings at 128.
  10. Donovan goes 110 to VGK. Let the hand wringing begin.
  11. Which players? You talking guys that are drafted or our roleplayers?
  12. Ah, I get ya. I guess I've never really heard anything about NHL management questioning us. I don't really know the entire story about Miller, but we've had like 15 NHL players since then, so I don't feel like it's a big problem.
  13. Definitely was. Doesn't feel like the case right now with the players OTT has picked from our team.
  14. Ottawa, yes. I think seeing three players picked in the top 2 rounds in two years is an indication of trust, not a concern of a potential lack of development. Snow had Okposo and pulled him. One player. Not three in the top 2 rounds in two years. Seeing how Wolanin developed in his three years, the progression of JBD last year and the massive steps of Tychonick in the second half of last year, I'm not sure what would make you think OTT doesn't like the development of it's players at UND.
  15. They've drafted four of our players in the past 4 years with three in the top 2 rounds. Seems like they trust our program.
  16. As a Rangers fan, this was devastating. Ugh, makes me sad to this day.
  17. Another Caggiula? Yes, please. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/2320618-NHL-DRAFT-Harrison-Blaisdell-could-be-fan-favorite-at-UND-a-scout-says
  18. http://www.news-gazette.com/news/local/2019-06-19/whitman-ui-still-track-add-hockey.html Here's another take on that.
  19. Good stuff about Pinto from Brad today: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/2320615-NHL-DRAFT-Shane-Pinto-may-be-the-guy-to-watch-in-UNDs-rookie-class Love the quote below. Sounds like he gets it: Pinto's versatility means that he's not penciled into any spot in the lineup this season. He's completely OK with that. "Honestly, I'll do whatever it takes," he said. "Whatever they want me to play, I'll do it. I'm not going to worry whether it's top six or bottom six. I'm going to have an open mind. I'm going to try my best, I'm going to work hard and go from there."
  20. Lol I never saw that game, like I said haha. So be it. What's it matter, anyway?
  21. I understand that, but I don't think I've seen a Wisco game recently with anywhere near 10,000 fans.
  22. Double whammy for what? I'm not sure how the B1G viewership ratings matters in this conversation about attendance. I watched nearly every Minny game on TV last year and I don't think there was ever a game I saw 7,000 there.
  23. Tickets sold and actual attendance are two very different things for many of these teams.
  24. It won't be Halliday, that's for sure lol.
  25. https://poweredgepro.com/ It's a training format/regimen/program kind of thing.
