This. I love the system, they are just simply overthinking it. It's all about quick twitch, making the defenders move and get the goalie out of position. Too often we hold the puck or pause on the one timer. Adams and Mash, among others, just have to find the confidence to make that one pass that breaks the structure and boom. I counted 8 solid scoring chances in the 5 PPs. Two were saved, four missed the net and the other two were broken up. Gotta bear down. This system is working and has given the team chances. Just gotta bury.

Wouldn't really call it a rush for the GWG. Fantastic stick play by Adams on the forecheck and then hit Guch on a great feed. Awesome to see Guch snipe that. Kid is a killer.

No way Adams isn't a Top 6 right now, IMO. Same with Guchi.

What's curious about it? He's not a full scholly guy.

Not last game! They were all over the place, especially Mash. I feel like that should and can be the new norm. Adams feels like he's turning into the pace/playmaking guy on that line.

Definitely no problem with him playing over Judd. However, I put Judd in there because of his size. Seems like he's building into a nice power forward already.

For sure on Blaisdell. He's shown to glimpses of being really, really good. Need the consistency. Sounds like Yon is for sure getting his shot and he definitely should. Excited for him. He's got plenty of skill.

Interested in line combos for Saturday. Interesting start for the Huskies this year at 3-3. Swept RMU away from home, got swept by Alaska at home and split with a ranked BGSU on the road. All-in-all, this is a game we should and need to win.

Michaud

Man, 16 was good tonight. Possibly his best game at UND. Great to see Pooly have an excellent game and get rewarded with the ENG after a really rough Friday. Great sweep. Keep going, boys.

About the same as Blaisdell. Smith, Bowen and Keane are upperclassmen. You play them all things equal over a freshman, IMO. Not the end of the world for a couple of younger guys to sit. Learning experience.

Blaisdell got thrown around yesterday. Judd deserved to stay in and Casey has more of a physical presence. I get it. I don't necessarily love it, but I get it.

Hain and Blaisdell weren't good last night. That simple.

I certainly don't disagree in the faceoff category, but still think he's really good defensively and should play in the middle. However, he was still good defensively and Adams was great offensively, so it paid off.

I thought Adams had a really good game at center. Didn't like the move initially to put Michaud on the wing because he's really good defensively, but Adams really excelled. That was one of the best offensive games I've seen 18 play. Pinto is just so solid. Missed Bast tonight, for sure.

Last year's team does not find a way to win that game. Not a great game whatsoever, but damn, it feels good to win.
