  1. Man, 16 was good tonight. Possibly his best game at UND. Great to see Pooly have an excellent game and get rewarded with the ENG after a really rough Friday. Great sweep. Keep going, boys.
  2. About the same as Blaisdell. Smith, Bowen and Keane are upperclassmen. You play them all things equal over a freshman, IMO. Not the end of the world for a couple of younger guys to sit. Learning experience.
  3. Blaisdell got thrown around yesterday. Judd deserved to stay in and Casey has more of a physical presence. I get it. I don't necessarily love it, but I get it.
  4. Hain and Blaisdell weren't good last night. That simple.
  5. Play like we did the second half the game, we walk out with a sweep. UND 3-1 Pinto, Pooly, Adams
  6. I certainly don't disagree in the faceoff category, but still think he's really good defensively and should play in the middle. However, he was still good defensively and Adams was great offensively, so it paid off.
  7. I thought Adams had a really good game at center. Didn't like the move initially to put Michaud on the wing because he's really good defensively, but Adams really excelled. That was one of the best offensive games I've seen 18 play. Pinto is just so solid. Missed Bast tonight, for sure.
  8. Last year's team does not find a way to win that game. Not a great game whatsoever, but damn, it feels good to win.
  9. Hahaha
  10. And I was wrong haha. Thanks Dave!
  11. I'm pretty sure we don't ever play two in Bemidji, at this point.
  12. Albrecht gives me that "Jimmer" vibe. Seems like a good kid.
  13. Dude has been good. If we can get three years out of him, that third year could be really, really special.
  14. BSU plays us tough every year, but, like I said earlier this week, I'm feeling good about this weekend. 4-1 UND Pinto, Guchi, Senden, Weatherby
  15. I've got a good feeling about this weekend. Play with pace, like we have through two weekends, I think we'll be fine.
  16. Yeah, I read it as you're saying that we need to win these next handful of games, not that we should. Well said, IMO.
  17. They totally do. Beavs always bring it against us.
  18. Absolutely agree. From what I saw against Canisius, and heard about the series against Mankato, this should be a sweep for our boys.
  19. Didn't get a chance to watch UND vs. Mankato, but it sounds like we should have won on Friday and could have won on Saturday. Another two important non-conference games. I don't think BSU will be horrendous and a potential "PWR killer", but, UND should absolutely sweep the Beavers at home. How'd Judd play in contrast to Johnson? How about Tychonick/Frisch?
  20. Lines for tonight same as last Friday other than Thome backing up Scheel: 10 Hain - 11 Michaud - 16 Mismash 18 Adams - 22 Pinto - 20 Kawaguchi 8 Blaisdell - 19 Senden - 26 Smith 21 Keane - 14 Weatherby - 9 Bowen 5 Johnson 6 Poolman - 24 JBD 3 Kierstad - 2 Bast 17 Tychonick - 4 Peski 31 Scheel 1 Thome Scratches: Yon, Albrecht, Frisch, Caulfield, Feeney
  21. Totally agree. OUT OF THE BOX.
  22. I don't really understand. So, if he played in the NHL, even if it's just for one game... what would he identify himself as? I know identity is a tricky thing in 2019
  23. Lol yes. Let's just wrap this up. I get where you're coming from. Let's just move on.
  24. Again, and? He played in the NHL. Go back to the thread. If you want to argue Schmaltz isn't a great NHL is one thing, but he's still an NHL player. Tychonick absolutely has enough skill to play in the NHL.
