Completely agree, Lamoureux is a leader on and off the ice, Hak knows this and he wont sit at all next year. Granted he's a 3rd/4th liner, but hes a grinder thats his style.

I agree on waiting to bring in Nelson, although we need his offensive touch! Simpson is coming in already, I dont know where it was on here, I think AZ Sioux posted it, the assistant coach of Simpson said ND coaches contacted him to bring him in next year, thats why hes accelerating his schooling.

Good point though, it makes sense. The majority are top tier players, but are they the type of national championship type players we need? I guess well see.

I disagree as well. Knight definitely came on in the second half, playing on the top line or two, I would say he was doing well. Our team is so deep that its hard to give some of the fresh adequate opportunities, as we've seen with the limited time Cichy, Toews, Brun got. By the way, Toews is a soph, I dont think he digressed by any means, it just comes down to the depth that we have. Watch out for Cichy, it took him a year or so in the USHL to get use to the speed, but once he did he tore it up. We all have reason to be upset this season, but next season we're really not losing that much (besides VV). We'll see the same team with more talent on the blueline and a year more experienced.

Great news for the Twins. I just nervous this will cripple opportunities for spending some $$$ on solid free agents. With the new Target Field, I think this will bring in a lot more cash to be used on signings. I heard that the Metrodome was costly for both the Viks and Twins, has anyone heard different?

How many does Duke have in the last 10 years? 1. But they definitely are still considered a powerhouse. Kansas? 1, again powerhouse. NC? 2 UND has 1 in the last 10 years, 2 runner ups, 3 third place finished. I would say were still a powerhouse.

Either way, we'd probably end up having to go through BC to get to the frozen four anyways. I think things worked out just fine. They have speed, im not worried with our toughness. The last 5 weeks or so I am amazed how tough and aggressive the Sioux have been, and its translating to goals and big hits.

I'm happy to see we play Yale rather than Michigan. Michigan is always going to be tough. I'm surprised they matched up Miami and Michigan in the same bracket, but I'm fine with it. I like our road to the Championship this year!
