Its a great thing. Hak clearly loves when certain D carry the puck up the ice and create that 4 on 2. Good example is how Blood and Genoway both do it. But as you said, it can get us in trouble, which we've seen a bit this year from Genoway. But with that, he creates so much which is key for our offense.

Great article by Brad and these days it is a lot about promotion and also the feel good stories sell. Matt has overcome a lot and the lessons that he teaches us all about true commitment to someones word is incredible. Also the argument that Genoway isn't Hobey worthy is just silly, we're half way through the season its still early. Just because Genoway isn't red hot like the start of last year, doesn't mean hes not worthy for a nod. Last year Wisconsin had two Hobey finalists. I don't see any reason why at the end of the year we shouldn't have two finalists as well.

I do like the idea of North Dakota Warriors and keeping with a Viking/Norsemen theme. That lame logo wont work though! I sure hope we'll still call on Ben Brien to do our logo for us.

There is already a major connection into Fargo. I'm not sure Delta is too worried about connecting to GFK with Fargo already in place. I'd like it though, Usually flights from Spokane to Salt Lake to Fargo are pretty cheap. Thats how I get back to GF.

So true. The game really slowed down after the 1st after a couple of Sioux penalties, legs were a lot slower and turnovers happened far too often. Dell played well all weekend, Mr Consistent in net. No complaints when our goalie allows 3 goals in 2 games.

Same here, you can't help but be frustrated if you're him. I think he has 5 total pts this season in 17 games. The thing is though he also isn't playing the point like he did last year during the PP, last year he had 9 PP goals, probably all of them by Frattin-like shots from the point.

Completely agree, we need Davidson's toughness tonight. I expect the flood gates to be open for the Sioux tonight. Get one early and we could end SCSU. We looked by far the better team even with our sloppy play. Despite the nice goal by Malone from the feed from Genoway, I thought Genoway and Blood had far too many turnovers in our own zone. Not to mention Knight's turnover late in the 3rd. Overall though, even missing Hextall and Gregoire we definitely are the more talented team.

Really helps us as well to see UofMN and Omaha go down. Distancing ourselves from them is exactly what we needed. Although always hate to see DU winning, no matter whoever it is.

Such a young commit we now look like Wisconsin or USC for football. Either way thats a long time before we see him in a Sioux uniform.
