This being said, I have a question that's a bit of a tangent. Say your #1 goalie for your college hockey team plays for a different country & you have guys playing for your country that you'll likely face in NCAAs. Do you tell the guys 'Hey this goalie is weak five hole or is known to cheat the pass on a 2 on 1', knowing that they could use it against him in the NCAA postseason down the line?

I kind of figured that might be your take. Sure, the travel isn't ideal but a rebooted CCHA without Mich, MSU, or OSU doesn't sound like much of a league. In a way, it would be like UND clamoring to get back into the WCHA as it currently stands. The NCHC is a great conference run by very capable people and I think the majority of fans recognize that.

Picture everyone in The Ralph/Alerus doing this at the exact same time and letting out the most annoying screech they can think of.... great stuff
