Are there ANY chants at football games? IMO I'd rather here a deafening "Let's Go Sioux" trying to will the team back to life than require a big play to make any noise. I think it'll convert to "Let's Go Hawks" down the line but anyone that thinks it'll happen overnight is just being pathetic...

Not sure if this is directed at me but since you quoted me I'll respond. I don't participate in the 'Sioux Forever' chant since that's usually led by our pathetic students but will do the 'Let's Go Sioux' as my pathetic self did in Tampa when our pathetic fans cheered our pathetic team to a national title. By extension what you're saying is that the current hockey players, numerous alumni in the NHL, and former coaches(Hakstol) who also say Let's Go Sioux are also pathetic. That about cover it?

This is not previous years' Western Michigan team. This is not a guaranteed sweep but can be if we can match their intensity. Iacapelli(or however you spell it) needs to get hit early and often as he can put the puck in the net. Rattle his cage(but not literally Gardner!) and see if he can get baited into taking a stupid penalty or two. As much as I'd like to see Boeser back, if he's not 100% I'd rather have him be a full go starting in January. The Broncos can punish players, especially if he's one of our star players and has an existing injury.

The 3v3 meant literally nothing which made if confusing as to why #57 celebrated his goal like he'd never been there before(on 2nd thought...) I was commenting to my wife that the only thing playing 3v3 was to see if we could get a guy injured. I suggested maybe a free throw contest next time.

Seriously, how is this a complaint? Like "poor us UND fans, our teams sometimes underperform but end up clicking and winning by years end. Why can't everything just go smoothly every year like in a video game?!" Also, does anyone remember the last time we didn't have a slow start? Oh yeah... last year!
