Seriously, how is this a complaint? Like "poor us UND fans, our teams sometimes underperform but end up clicking and winning by years end. Why can't everything just go smoothly every year like in a video game?!" Also, does anyone remember the last time we didn't have a slow start? Oh yeah... last year!

I've been following up on this on twitter and tweeted at the Unauthorized handle but haven't found anyone that knows what the deal is. You'd think after getting $50k+ there would be more updates on the status of production. Maybe 'Jonwiggle' can provide an update?

I wouldn't be surprised if Bubba goes to the students with tickets for this game once it gets closer. He's been know to do so...

I think they'd let him finish out the semester and then transfer possibly. To your second question, maybe he though he'd get a shot vs Canisius, RPI, BSU and when he didn't he made the decision. Wasn't he actually the backup goalie for one of the games this year or am I imagining that? This is all 100% speculation btw watch now he'll start Saturday

1. Obviously there's no reason to replace Cam at this point, he's IMO one of the most under appreciated goalie at UND in a while despite taking us all the way(albeit with a great d core) 2. I'm surprised that people aren't more curious as to why Tomek is not even a backup if he's been proven he has skill up to this point. Sure you can trot out the 'playing time is earned' company line but you earn playing time and develop confidence by getting in games and stopping the biscuit. 3. Saying 'coaches must see something in practice'. What is it?! Gets beat 5 hole every time? Has a glove as slow as molasses? Did Boeser deke him so hard he had contemplated the meaning of his life and is joining the peace corps? Again, I trust the coaches but I really think there has to be something big for a 3rd round drafted goalie(yes I know draft position isn't everything) to not be getting a look. That is all

That wasn't my point. Sicatoka said that because Rinks is a senior he's getting more looks. My point was that seniority alone does not account for Tomek not sniffing the net. Then I stated there has to be extenuating circumstances such as practice, which would fall under your 'he's just better right now'.

Never said he was, but you missed my point. We have a 3rd round NHL drafted goalie that can't even sniff the net.

Seniority alone doesn't mean a 3rd rounder sits in the stands his entire sophomore year. Gotta be either something blatantly glaring in practice or extenuating circumstances such as Tomek planning on leaving.

Tomek might struggle in his 1st start. However, if we plan to have him on this team we should probably break him in for game action in case, god forbid, something happens to Cam. On the other hand, Tomek might be bolting after this semester which is my current theory on why he's not even dressing.

Or 7-4-2 in its last 13 or 2-0 in its last 2.
