Drakes punch was a retaliation to a cross check to his face, at least according to Hennesy. Hak loses control of his players? Come on, is this going to spiral into a 'what has Hak done for me lately?' discussion. We can never lose because we have 2 very key guys out and just didn't have our best game and got beat. It always has to come back to the coach and how he didn't take a timeout and give a 'go get one for the gipper' speech.

Sometimes I think that's easier said than done. A guy cross checks you in the face, it'd be tough to not react...

Big game tonight, let's get a convincing win to go into the break with! I'd be pretty content with 13-4-2 at xmas break.

Thought I may have seen Sanderson at Red Pepper on lunch but it could've been a doppleganger.

"Scrabble" heh

I'd argue my opinions are not dangerous at all, but then again no one would listen anyways

The frontier flight is a really good deal direct from Denver to Fargo. I have some buddies flying in to Fargo in February for the DU series and it's $200 roundtrip.

This video confirms my suspicions about Evan Trupp... he is in fact, a wizard.

I wouldn't say I'm "judging" his character as a person(for all I know he's a great kid), but given the information we have at this present time I wouldn't want him on our team. Wisconsin starts 1-10-1 and the only explanation we hear is that "he's not having any fun". Also, he plans to go back to juniors and re-join a different D1 college hockey team. If he's going through something serious in his personal life I feel for him, but why would he be looking to join another college hockey team after going back to juniors if that's the case? His decision has so many red flags that his seemingly limited upside wouldn't be worth it to me. Then again, this all my personal opinion and I don't get a say in the matter.

Yup, exactly my reasons. I don't want a player who is a flight risk when things get tough.

No thanks, pass

University of North Dakota Hockey 2014-15 season

I just remember watching the Lapoint replay and it was awful, leg broke in multiple places I believe. I'm no doctor, but I'd be blown away if thats a 6 week injury. -

I don't believe this is quite to that level of break, is it? I can't remember but wasnt Lapoint's injury season ending? -

I know, just giving you crap. I'm just happy it's not an end of the season type injury, because that's what I was thinking leaving the arena that night. -

Well if we're getting really technical(which it seems like we are) 6 weeks from the injury would insert him into the lineup on Saturday night in the 3rd period against Niagra -

My thoughts are it could be worse. It gets him plenty health for the stretch run. -
...and hopefully 9-0 against all teams that are from Colorado

Speaking of Illegal Pete's, those burritos are phenomenal!

Their new goalie, Cowley, seems to have been their surprise as they were worried about losing their experience in net. Also, it seems like their defenseman LaLeggia burns us most every time we play them. In my opinion, he's one of the better shots in the country, at least as far as dmen go.

2014-2015 College Hockey (non UND hockey)
InHeavenThereIsNoBeer replied to MafiaMan's topic in Men's Hockey
It is embarrassing but hopefully it helps other schools believe they can become competitive quickly and grows college hockey. That being said, I'd bet money against ASU being at the top of the NCHC in their 3rd year as a varsity team(assuming they land in the NCHC). -
Yup, we haven't reached our full potential but what year have we reached it by December? All I know is we're 12-3-2 and continuing to learn to win. I think some more conference action in the 2nd half will help this team grow.

That Stecher injury scares me, I was worried he blew out his knee. If I had my pick, I'd have rather lost the game and keep Stecher if it's serious. Luckily Hennessy said he had an ice bag on his ankle so maybe rolled ankle? That would be good news right now.

Happy to see Simonson in, I really like his game.

That was the definition of a seeing eye shot. On the replay on the jumbotron from the shooters perspective you could barely see the net until the last second.

Of course that's assuming the game would have transpired the exact same way, which I don't think it would have. It may have actually good to have Cam in there in a weird way to show how much Zane bails them out in their own zone.
