  1. If we're going by the eye test(yes I know my glasses tint my vision green) UND is a more complete team. UND rolled 4 lines all weekend from what I could tell and it felt like UMD put the Plante line back out at every available opportunity. So the Plante line and the goalie Gajan is what they depend on. And when they get stymied by an opponent, Saturday night happens.
  2. 60/40 if won in 3on3, if it goes to a shootout it's a tie. Here's a good breakdown https://www.collegehockeynews.com/info/?d=npi
  3. Kid is becoming a force
  4. Have a feeling Ollie is going to be a fan favorite
  5. I mean, 2 years is a long time to laugh šŸ˜†
  6. Don’t care how many points Perron has, he’d never fit the way this team plays. He’s not capable
  7. Huh? We ended their season in their own rink last year
  8. If that’s our biggest concern from the wkd, I’d say we are doing great
  9. As much as I think Homer has great qualities if he could be a little more conservative coming out of net and figure out how to use his glove hand, the best situation is having Jan take the net and run with it. Start the goaltender development again and have Heil come in next year to challenge for minutes and off we go
  10. Honestly would’ve been tougher without that push to get to OT, I’m a bit of an outlier at the Ralph as I don’t get too excited win or lose in OT and shootout. I know it matters to an extent nationally and league points but it’s not a real test of what we’ll face at any point in the postseason. And that’s the end goal
  11. That was mind boggling, I was sitting at the end of the ice and it felt as though time stood still. Thankfully Strinden redeemed himself in a big way with the tying goal
  12. Frustrating game but UND outplayed UMD for large stretches of it, it’s concerning that the high end talent isn’t burying their chances. However, this team plays hard. I don’t think there’s a chance in hell last years team makes that comeback. If we can get rid of some of the immature plays this team can be extremely hard to play against. All that being said, tomorrow will tell us a lot about how much they’ve grown
  13. I think one of the reasons our powerplay has struggled lately is they've been too one dimensional passing back and forth among the 3 top guys. I can't remember the last time I've seen a puck get to a guy below the goal line or having a trigger guy set up as a bumper. We've been too predictable.
  14. Then go make some money
  15. Could have avoided all that flood stuff in '97 if we would have had this much sandbagging
  16. It's really good and the ambiance is better. If you even like Brussel sprouts a little bit I'd highly recommend them as a side. However, if you want the best steak in town my vote's for the filet mignon at Helix
  17. There's only so much discretionary income, but an abundance of losing franchises to watch. How can one choose?
  18. However, they lost to Augustana 4-0 so their season is over šŸ˜
  19. I’m not sure why but I always confuse Clarkson and Bowling Green. Thought Clarkson was supposed to be good this year but pretty sure that was BG with the good recruiting class.
  20. Gonna be tough when he's no longer calling games, he's been doing it longer than I've been alive(8 years longer to be exact) so I literally don't know anything else when it comes to UND Hockey on the radio.
  21. Yup there’s a lot of enthusiasm around the team because of the coaching change, the young talent, etc but there’s still a lot of growing to do as a team between now and April. I can’t wait to see it play out starting with a sweep tonight 😁
  22. Id say there’s young talent, but they don’t play together very well yet. But it’s October so I’ve learned things can change over the course of season. Remember after destroying BU Friday night last year I thought we had something special…
