  1. Yup, another point for this situation is completely different.
  2. JT Miller committed to UND in October of 2010 and reneged in July of 2011, that's a world of a difference to me vs committing in May, and reneging a month or 2 later.
  3. So goofy, is there ever an instance of a kid committing to a team, getting drafted a month later then reneging immediately on that commitment? None come to mind for me.
  4. After seeing Kernan in that Quinny game, I think he’ll be 2C this year. That shot, my god
  5. It would be absolutely insane if they added another big fish
  6. I was more commenting on the lack of reporting. Reporting on this great new building someone has in Grand Forks, you think they'd at least mention where it is.
  7. Unless I missed it, it doesn't even say where it's located
  8. And Heil by the sounds of it
  9. That's impressive. I just remember going to the hyslop for women's basketball, the first part of men's basketball then taking the tunnel over to the old ralph. Great memories
  10. Assistant to the regional managers?
  11. I recall some electric 5 on 5 OT's, and the stakes were so much higher
  12. Having a stud sophomore and freshman goalie, man it feels good going into a season like that
  13. Is it just me or does this feel a knee jerk response to not playing in the Frozen Four? These are young guys and feels like a lot of these transfers are emotional decisions being made a few days after something didn't go their way. I guess I don't get what Cade was expecting when he came to UND, to be a top 6 guy? And I want to say, I'm a massive Cade Littler fan, hope he has all the success in the world when he's not playing UND.
  14. Except that you could probably buy a Holiday Inn with the increased equity in that lake place over the past 20-30 years. Agreed though, no shorter of things to do in the summer. It's the winter that could use some more options.
  15. From what I've heard UND will simply not be in on guys like McKenna or Martone that are looking to get top dollar. A small piece of a massive pie is more than a huge piece of a tiny pie, in comparison. We're going to be spreading out NIL and Rev Share with the big dogs getting a larger percentage but we're not throwing bags at guys. I heard Sandy took a little less RevShare money his last season so other guys on the team could get some help knowing he'd be signing a contract in the next year.
  16. Great, much more nuanced take. We can all scream “chippaz derp chippaz” but if we avoid those guys(or worse classes) that miss that’s the true measurement of Chyz’ effectiveness. Not this knee jerk superficial 1st rounder crap. Btw we have PLENTY of draft picks on next years team
  17. This would have been a nice pickup. 18 G 11 A last season
  18. Everyone hand wringing about not getting a “high end” chl guy, how many 1st rounders have won a national title in the last 5 or so years? I think the answer is 1. It’s not about 1 player, it’s the team, the goalie and the ability to shut teams down in a 1 and done tourney. Ya think we’d learn this by now.
  19. Maybe you and I know different people but the lake doesn't get replaced by anything happening in Grand Forks. Or if it does, it's a rare occurrence.
  20. Haha great point, forgot to mention the sound wall we have to budget for as well.
  21. Whoa mister, you're really good at this
  22. Or 13 holes, whatever fits in the space for good golf holes. Play music over speakers, put up lights for night golf, play off the nearby Suite Shots personality.
  23. Something that we're hopefully working our way towards once we get a program full of Jax recruits, although I don't know how you keep a Strathman from transferring so there will always be the need to fill holes.
