  1. Did...did they slap a sponsor on their captains?
  2. I'll absorb the extra $0.45 a beer to not have to run to the atm every game.
  3. Yup, now it's just the conditions that are consistently inconsistent. Gotta start over with the greens, they can't seem to figure them out. Sounds like irrigation is a project in the near future as well. GFCC is so good when it's good but pretty bad when it's bad.
  4. Prefer that to only allowing cash at the beer stand
  5. Schloss either gets ripped for not reporting enough details or reporting too much, feels like he can't win. I actually am interested if the associates and assistants are being paid higher under Jax, wish that was included
  6. There's an art to being a pest. If he's getting a bunch of matching penalties I'm totally fine with it, however if he takes a bunch of dumb unnecessary penalties that's where it may drive us crazy. My gut feeling is he's going to be a fan favorite. You always love them when they're on your team and hate them on the other team.
  7. Carle repeatedly lets Wodon talk himself into a box and he falls for it every time, just dismantles every argument he puts forward systematically and does not let him slither away with backhanded comments without explaining himself. I loved every second of it.
  8. Sounds like MSU had money put aside for McKenna(200-300k) and just re-allocated that for Martone. UND isn't going to be paying that much for 1 player so if $$$ are the main driver UND probably doesn't have a shot. Btw I'm ok with this, having certain guys making wayyy more money than other players could create a pretty tense locker room dynamic if it goes south.
  9. I may have my green-colored glasses but I think they're already top 8 in the nation
  10. I got connected with a family member for one of our highly touted incoming players. They are looking to buy 4 more tickets for the Gopher series so I said I'd put some feelers out there to see if anyone is selling. I don't think they knew what they were getting into coming down for the Gophers series haha but I assured them it was as good as it gets in college hockey Anyways, if you are looking to get rid of 4 tickets let me know and I'll connect you with them. Thanks!
  11. Here here! I want 100 commits coming to campus in July to duke it out 'hunger games' style to see who makes the team.
  12. I like the low numbers, has a bit of gravitas and just another little thing that is part of UND's tradition
  13. It wouldn't surprise me honestly, doesn't like to play defense.
  14. Boy that makes me really happy he left early, great move 😆
  15. A true murderer's row of alumni in coaching positions with JPL being added to "coach" the goalies
  16. Gonna need someone more qualified than myself to answer that one
  17. Stayed in Belfast a few blocks from this arena last month. It’d be a pretty awesome place to go to a Sioux game. Then to use this game as a jumping off point to a Northern Ireland or Ireland trip. Very excited
  18. It was a cool routing but the flooding was becoming an issue every year, not financially sustainable and it was in really bad shape the last few years.
  19. There was actually a few years where they had the greens rolling really nicely. I think it's slowed down a bit since though, that was a few years ago.
  20. I love drivable par 4's, nothing better if it's got some good strategy. Throw a boomerang green on one of the holes at RR, this one at Sand Valley is a blast. Played it 4 times and still trying to figure out the best approach.
  21. Have any UND golfers actually set foot on Ray Dicks? I've only ever seen them at King's Walk. Can't imagine playing a sloppy 9 hole course gets them ready for their tournaments all over the country.
  22. A positive of the Fox broadcasts were the drone shots, they presented Pebble Beach differently than anyone ever had before. I never understood how the course flowed until I saw that broadcast. It was almost jarring to take a drone down 17 to 18's tee and up the coast. It was like "Oh yeah I suppose 17 green and 18 are really close to each other and it's not a video game where every hole is it's own entity". Then I got to play Pebble and really experience the aura
  23. Kinda like Grand Junction except they reversed the order you order and the sandwiches aren't as good(at least mine wasn't). One thing that hasn't changed though is the wait time, still as long as ever. I'll chalk it up to a new restaurant finding their footing and give them another shot though.
