I think the most important thing is to get pucks on net with either a tip or a screen, we can't try to make this a highlight reel game. I was watching replays of the goals in the 2016 regional... as good as that team was almost all the goals and a tip and/or a screen.

Is that any different from what bigger schools could do as well? Couldn't you also argue the athlete themselves could subsidize their own insurance policy(and then some) on future earnings with the extra $100-200k extra they're getting from another school. I honestly think we're not going to be in the running for guys that are only looking for the highest bidder... I also don't think that's a bad thing

I'm not sure how it'd be possible NOT to have that take a massive toll on a father. I can't quite imagine going through that and as a higher profile person, heart went out to him.

FYP, I'm not sure you can say anyone outcoached Hak in the regionals where he had 16 WINS and 4 LOSSES! That's an 80% winning percentage in the regionals if you're keeping score at home. Flip over to the Frozen Four and he had 1 WIN and & 7 LOSSES for a 13% Win percentage. I know this isn't news to anyone but crazy when you look at the split. Makes me wonder what those teams did in the 2 weeks leading up to the Frozen Four and what Hak might change looking back.

My favorite part of Coach Carle putting CHN's Adam Wodon in a box was Wodon saying NPI is too volatile and the margins so small that it doesn't make sense to give teams home ice advantage for receiving a top 4 seed. To which Carle responds, but it's good enough to decide whose season ends and whose doesn't?

We just need Spoon Man to be solid in net. Not spectacular, just solid, and I like our chances.

You have to look at the big picture I think. It's easy to overreact to this bad game and he did make rookie mistakes(I was cursing his name too on those plays). But consider you're saying Jayden Jubenvil(I love the guy btw) has played 52 games and has 2 goals and 6 assists should play over Verhoeff who, in 33 games, has 6 goals and 14 assists. Which one of these players has more of a potential to change a game in your favor? If your answer is defense, JJ is a +8 to KV at a +6. Not sure that merits the swap.

I know it sounds like an excuse but how many games in a row have they had someone out sick? And guys are likely puking and have nausea, guarantee it’s not a little headache. Perhaps this is the best thing that could happen for them, quarantine for the next 5-6 days then start preparing for your first round opponent
