Is it just me or does this feel a knee jerk response to not playing in the Frozen Four? These are young guys and feels like a lot of these transfers are emotional decisions being made a few days after something didn't go their way. I guess I don't get what Cade was expecting when he came to UND, to be a top 6 guy? And I want to say, I'm a massive Cade Littler fan, hope he has all the success in the world when he's not playing UND.

From what I've heard UND will simply not be in on guys like McKenna or Martone that are looking to get top dollar. We're going to be spreading out NIL and Rev Share with the big dogs getting a larger percentage but we're not throwing bags at guys. I heard Sandy took a little less RevShare money his last season so other guys on the team could get some help knowing he'd be signing a contract in the next year.

Everyone hand wringing about not getting a “high end” chl guy, how many 1st rounders have won a national title in the last 5 or so years? I think the answer is 1. It’s not about 1 player, it’s the team, the goalie and the ability to shut teams down in a 1 and done tourney. Ya think we’d learn this by now.

Davis seems like one of those undrafted guys that we could be super glad was around for 3 or 4 years. Also sounds like he fits exactly the mold Chyzyk and Co. are looking for. (Thought it was hilarious he called Bryn "Mr Chyzyk" but also probably means he's got good character)

18 goals his freshman year and he couldn't buy one at the end of the season. I think he's as good a bet as any, especially if he's being set up by a Reschny and/or Swanson.

Met his mom(Jayson Shaugaby's sister FYI) on the night of the NCHC Semifinals vs UMD, very nice. She said communication with UND had been few and far between since Jax took over. She said of course he wanted to play for UND but didn't sound like he felt very wanted with new coaching staff(my words) and they asked him to wait a year when he was ready to be done with junior hockey. Actually mentioned they were going to visit with SCSU after that game but I'm sure Larson going to UofM threw a bunch of that in the air. Wish him the best.

My biggest concern is replacing the 45 goals and 104 points put up by Strinden, James and Rickwood last season. Would need some guys to make some jumps next year if we aren’t getting a 15+ goal scorer in the portal

I'd say he brings a lot more to the table than this post did. Imagine saying an NCHC underclassmen that had 21 points, was the top penalty killer for said team, and is a 2 way 6'1" two-way forward(+9) brings NOTHING to the table.
