I agree, is the level of development high enough... 3 players out of what 12.. well minus the freshies if you are looking year to year. Hoff, Jan are the glaring. Now that said every player has evolved defensively but offensively? The focus on defense is glaring in my humble opinion... How to correct it, beats the heck out of me, but I will be here patiently waiting to cheer.

I recall hearing several times in the last few years that making players into 200' players is a program attribute, is this "focus" sending the elite danglers and snipers looking to where their talents are cultivate. Not saying that is a good thing for a high end talent to do, but do these kids want a highlight reel or a 20 year NHL career? This kind of goes against UND's record of placing players in the NHL but I had a thought and wanted to share, flame away.

Perhaps UND is late to the party in recruiting at the 12 yo level?

Player development!?!?! why are we not making our recruits better? and why is the "inspired play" so elusive. Is having a hammer at the top (hak) the missing link? Is it as simple as Berry needing to glare more and throw a few garbage cans?

Do all FCS programs have an internal drug testing program? Is it an NCAA mandate to have an internal program? Are the results of the testing available to the public, or will a FOIA request be required? I suspect we are sitting on the lynchpin of the Bison dynasty, they figured out a way.....

Nowhere near an expert but I wonder if NDSU and/or BN figured out a way to "game" the NCAA pre work out ban criteria using timing, amount, additives or unknown methodology. using the in house NDSU testing program as a laboratory. BR did not follow the protocol to a tee, or perhaps had a health issue that disrupted the methodology? Either way the lack of transparency by the FCS reigning superpower should be raising eyebrows, if only NCAA cared about JV football.
