Maybe the emphasis on forwards being defensively responsible has hindered creativity. Or not enough Greed when it comes to taking the shots... seemed like speed wise we are lacking, puck battles werr seldom won I noticed hustle to get to puck or players not seeming to happen. Hope improvements can be made, definitely will be back next year cheering

Just throwing this out there, but couldn't the NCAA set a minimum seating capacity to host, say 4K. If your on campus rink does not qualify, then you are required to submit an alternative plan, perhaps partnering with a school in the same predicament?

Very true, unfortunately the downside is many parents cringe at hockey (especially being a goalie) due to the fact it is a very expensive sport compared to all the other options. Double edge sword: better competition leads to better results, leads to success, success spurs interest. More travel is more expense. I have no solution, just wanted to add that.
