I agree. The Sioux need to take care of business tonight, regardless of whether I want them to or not. This is their chance to put some good distance back between them and UMD. Of course, all us UMD fans will be watching and waiting for the Sioux to screw up, but I find it highly unlikely that they will. I predict Denver will finish 7th in the league.

UMD has been plugging the Hobey voting at home games, and also during radio broadcasts. The public voting only counts for 1% of the total votes, and the coaches votes count for 99%. Makes all the ballot stuffing a little ridiculous,seeing as how fans are basically powerless to decide who gets the Hobey.

The NCAA needs to stop using the PWR and start using the KRACH rankings for determining the NCAA tournament selectees. Maine's easier schedule is not adjusted for in the PWR, and neither is Michigan's.

In fact, we could be back in third...but only if Wisco sweeps UM and UND takes at least one point. I think UND will sweep, and UW/UM will split leaving UMD in second with five weeks remaining.
