I am definitely hoping UMD finishes third or second in the WCHA. That way we won't play the Sioux in the first round (not that it was so bad last time!)!!

I'm not sure why he was banned... 27 years is an extreme penalty. He must have done more than just talk to a couple of kids about their plans (gambling, printing false information, perhaps some back door "donations" to the kids). There has to be something more there, otherwise I see nothing wrong with it. Perhaps not having media credentials may have had something to do with it.

Well, UMD is second in the country, averaging 4.09 GPG. I think that should answer any questions you may have had. Although...we're still nowehere close to the 5+ GPG averaged by the #1 scoring team...I wonder who that could be??

Guys like RW77 are why I like this site. Most other sites I have been to seem to scream "This is a ____ site, so get your UMD lovin' keyster outta here!!". As a Dogs fan I have been genuinely impressed with Sandy's recruiting. He has really helped turn the program back into a winner.

I had only heard rumors about this movie before seeing the trailer. Looks like it should be a good film. Hopefully the stereotyped MN accent doesn't take away from what looks to be a very powerful film.

As long as you don't let Tech get on you early, you should be OK. When the Dogs lost at Houghton, the Huskies had 4 1st period goals. The Dogs came back to within a goal twice, but Tech has some fairly good scorers. Not much depth at all, but they can be very dangerous. Nonetheless, I predict a Sioux sweep. Now if only the Dogs can get one against CC. That's a bit taller order.

A great day for college hockey!! These schools have great traditions, and to take away their ability to recruit top players would only hurt the league. The system works!

The Sioux really seem to dominate 4X4. Too bad the NCAA OT's aren't played that way!

This is a college hockey site...and a much better one than any other I have found. There is not as much flaming or personal attacks. People just want to talk hockey here, and that is cool. I am a Bulldogs fan, you are a Sioux fans. We both respect each other and enjoy talking hockey together, so what does it matter whose "sight" it is.
