Well now that we know his true ambitions, it is easy to say that this is one classless young adult... The fact that he wasn't producing here makes this an easy one to forget for both fans and players. I love hard-working, gritty guys who live to be NoDak hockey player. I saw some upside with Adam but what I was most excited about was what he brought to the table in 2-3 years. He was obviously going to be a 4 year guy, but knowing what we know now, good riddance. His scholarship money will be better spent elsewhere. Blessing in disguise...

Toews was an exception in the college world... lots of b-sheet on twitter on who develops better, whl or college. This may still be up for debate, but what isn't is whether or not bailing on your team mid-season is.

His Calgary teammates? It seems that our captain, who I really respect BTW, doesn't seem too upset by it so maybe there was some underlying reasons nobody has speculated for his departure. If it was for more top-line time or for development reasons it is hugely selfish.

Good riddance to a guy that would do that to his teammates.... hope the door didn't hit him on his way out.

The championship game is always supposed to be the "showpiece" game, hence the most desirable time frame for the game... classy move by the goofer athletic dept .

I respectively disagree... I believe there are players that leave it all on the ice, every practice, every game. We've seen plenty of them suit up for UND. The difference is we have very few of them on this team. There is no doubt some hard-working, less-talented players could have had a much better outcome last night.

You recruit kids that do not need to be "pumped up" to play hockey... For every lazy D1 player who doesn't want to give it his all every night there are 10 kids that would gladly take his place. Being a Sioux hockey player isn't a right, it's an honor. For those who don't want to skate hard, get the eff off the ice.

Nah, give him a game and pretend it didn't happen... I mean most D1 hockey teams have stuff like this happen all the time. It's not just our program that deals with this over and over, right?

Good riddance... what a moron if there is any truth to this. I don't care if it's a candy bar or a car, stealing is stealing. I'm fine with big suspensions for alcohol related offences and I believe something like this is much worse.
