Minnesota Coach Jerry Kill retired today due to health reasons, very emotional press conference was kinda tough to watch.

Really nice game tonight showcasing the speed and skill. The Schmaltz line was dominant again and I love the creativity and chemistry they seem to have. Nice job all around of limiting Vermont to very few quality chances as well.

Great start came out with a lot of speed and took BSU a while to adjust. As the game went on BSU did a pretty good job of clogging stuff up and taking away shooting lanes and really just playing their typical tough to play against style. The injuries seem to be mounting after losing Janatuinen in game as well. The Schmaltz line looked pretty solid creating chances again tonight but seemed like they missed Gersich who I think is about the perfect fit with Schmaltz and Boeser so hopefully we can get him back tomorrow. Goaltending is still a pretty big concern for me especially with Cam's injury and another couple goals that probably should have been stopped tonight. I think Bemidji had 3 PP goals and we have know given up 4 in 3 games so really gotta get the PK figured out. Also not sure on the numbers but seem like we struggled on faceoffs especially in the d zone.

NORTH DAKOTA vs. Lake Superior State - Friday Gameday
SiouxScore replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
Hard to tell too much from radio but sounded like a pretty decent job generating offense and really seemed like the top 2 lines pretty much dominated when they where on the ice. Goaltending is still a bit of concern to me hopefully Cam can bounce back tomorrow with a solid performance. -
Jeff Cox @JeffCoxSports 6h6 hours ago Hearing from 2 sources that late '97 RC Michael Graham switching commitment from Minnesota Duluth to Notre Dame. Eden Prairie, Minn. native.

Over The Boards @OTBPuckWatch 8h8 hours ago 01 F Grant Silianoff (SSM U14) commits to Notre Dame. Nice look, skilled skater from Edina. On fire his 2nd year at SSM: 26 pts, 11 games.

Over The Boards @OTBPuckWatch 5h5 hours ago Sounds like 2016 draft prospect Mike Graham is uncommitted again. Scorer from Eden Prairie (MN) had been a UMD recruit.

He was a junior last year this is his senior year.

Not completely sure but I'd guess he is still playing at EGF and just playing in the fall elite league right now.

Boeser

Nope I hadn't heard of him until you just mentioned him.

I think Phillips is another Minnesota/North Dakota battle that could go either way. Grant Silianoff is one Shattuck kid to watch on their bantam team.
-
I would put Clayton Phillips from Edina right at the top of that list. A lot talented MN high school kids that are probably pretty high on the priority list another that comes to mind is Henry Enebak from Lakeville North,

SF dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and when that happens you are gonna win most of the time. Very concerned about the OL going forward they didn't protect very well at all especially when SF came with blitzes. Looked like Teddy was affected by the pressure and a lot of times threw off balance and missed some open guys that way. I'd like to see more carries from under center for Peterson rather than shotgun he just doesn't look very comfortable at all running from the gun.

Gophers defense did enough to knock off TCU but the offense missed on too many chances. When you fumble inside your own 20 to set up the 1st TCU TD and fumble at the goal line going into score it is hard to knock off a team like TCU.

Dalvin Cook found not guilty and will rejoin the FSU team immediately. http://espn.go.com/espnw/news-commentary/article/13504706/florida-state-seminoles-rb-dalvin-cook-found-not-guilty-battery-case

C, SS, and the bullpen are the positions they really could use upgrades at. I don't think their are many C and SS available who would be nice upgrades but I do think they will go and get some bullpen but I really don't see them giving up any of their top prospects.

Pirates look to be on their way to sweeping the Twins in a 2 game set. It would be the Twins 4th loss in a row and they would drop to 3-8 since the break yet somehow if the playoffs started today they would be in them.

Yes A-Rod is on the Yankees and Santana plays for the Twins and I'm a Twins fan so those are the rules. Really though I don't make too big a deal about any of the steroid users anymore including A-Rod. I just used the A-Roid name last night because I was mad the Twins let a 5-0 lead get away and A-Rod was a big part of that.
