Grinded out a win. Really nice defensive effort aside from the breakdown on the goal. Just missed on some real nice chances and think we see the guys cash in putting 4+ in the net tomorrow night.

I just turned it to Midco 2 with the South Dakota tournament on and it looks like peewee B hockey. -

Pretty even game first time they played at Hermantown in mid January. 2-1 OT win for the Hawks and shots 33-27 in favor of Hermantown. Warroad will need Slukynsky to be at his best. TV timeouts are an advantage for Warroad with the shorter depth. -

I did. -
I liked him last year but he has taken another jump this season, he will be a really really solid player for Duluth. Will be fun to see him and the rest of the Warrior prospects tomorrow against Hermantown and their talent.

I don't remember the cry for Lawson. He had a great tournament but there were obvious flaws. Even Worth people loved his goal scoring ability but questioned his defense. There aren't near as many questions with guys like Shaugabay, Gardner, or Bump this year which is why they are already committed to other places. I like our class we have coming in next season but I would like to see us get back to being more aggressive in going after the MN high school prospects.

Him and Gardner both look like they would fit in well in the green, black, and white.

Man is this Warroad/Mahtomedi game fun! The skill and finishing ability of Gardner and Shaugabay has me wishing they were committed to UND. -

What a start for South! 10 seconds in a get a really nice regroup and goal, nice finish by Luedtke -
Looking forward to watching a couple of these Hill Murray kids in this one. First look at the Freshman Logan Hensler who is supposed to be really really good.

Both Maple Grove and Prior Lake have really turned it on in the last 3rd of the season. That one should be a real fun back and forth game tomorrow night. -

Bump has been doing this all season but really took it to another level come playoff time. With the NLI signed already I'd be surprised if he isn't in Vermont for next season the question is whether he is in the portal next spring looking to move up or if he stays at Vermont. -
I like Erick Comstock too, reminds me a little of Aaron Ness. Smaller smooth skater with offensive skill, believe he is cousins with Duluth defenseman Wyatt Kaiser.
-
I see he has signed his NLI actually but if he plays juniors next year does his NLI matter? I thought NLI's were only valid for a limited time like a year.
-
Wouldn't mind Berry taking a shot at flipping Gardner from Warroad. Don't believe he has signed a NLI as eliteprospects has him headed to Clarkson in 23/24. He skates pretty well with good size, not as skilled but reminds me a little of Brock Nelson out there.
-
Motzko was there and I'm sure he noticed Bump but he has singed his NLI. Motzko was there to watch Gopher commit Sam Rinzel as well as some other guys like Chaska Sophomores Sam Scheetz and Tanner Bruender among others.
-
This is correct. I would guess part of the reason he is going to Vermont is that he can go right there next season. I'd say it is more likely he heads to Vermont next year and maybe ends up in the portal after a successful season if he wants to go to a more relevant program or get closer to home.

B1G basically has the two really good teams with Minnesota and Michigan, Notre Dame has had some solid moments in the 2nd half I'd probably take them over Omaha. You think Omaha would finish ahead of Tech? Not sure they would.

Not exactly how you would have drawn up the finish but got the job done. Little too much on our heels in the 3rd. -

If he ends up at Vermont it is an absolute steal by them -
Just an unbelievable run this group is on right now. The roster keeps taking hits and high level hits at that but they just keep finding a way to get the job done. Lot of self improvement from a number of guys this season. The talent level has definitely improved as the year has gone on and that is a credit to the players and coaches for putting the work in. Zach Driscoll is seeing the puck really well right now.
