This is truly a fantastic description of the past. Made me SO angry. Glad to see how things are changing at the Alerus, and to a point, within the UND Athletic Dept.

Pretty cool that our boys get to go up against a national championship contender (on paper). Very beneficial, as long as there aren't any serious injuries of course.

Tried a grinder for first time in months last week. Bread is super dense, chewy, and much heavier than the old days. That said, it wasn't a bad sandwich, but super heavy. It might be the same recipe as the Pepper folks keep saying, but something is different in the baking process.

I was at the pepper last week, and I must say the grinder bread is incredibly different! Super dense and chewy, cornmeal on the bottom.

I have been to the Pepper once since they switched bread, haven't been back since. No reason to go back, tons of other options in town. The "nostalgia" doesn't do it for me.

What good does posting something like that do? Does it help UND? As far as the "narrative", you can call it that, but it is a fact that the logo is gaining traction. Why not help that process? Some choose to do so, some do not.
