Webb has 4 PF's with 14 minutes to go. Got called for charging then fouled a guy shooting a 3 the next time down the court (said he didn't give him room to come down on the landing).
-
51-51 with 15 minutes to go.
-
UND on a quick 5-0 run to start the half. Sac St responds with a 3.
-
UND scores with 8 seconds to go and then proceeds to give up a floater at the buzzer. Rag on Jones all you want, that one is all on the players as it want it sounds like some less than stellar effort on the defensive end. UND down by 3 at the half. Need to slow down Sac St.'s shooting, play something resembling defense and UND will be fine. If they don't, then likely going to be all she wrote.
-
UND down 38-37 with just over 2 left in the half. Sac St shooting 57% and 4-4 from 3.
-
We've been doing alright against a zone lately. Need to slow down Sac St's 67% shooting.
-
Get the offensive funk out of the way early and keep it close.
-
UND on a little run, up 17-13.
-
Offensive rebound for UND, tipped out to Anderson, makes it 11-10.
-
Sac St. up 8-5 at the first media timeout.
-
Nash with the first bucket of the game.
-
Webb will still get his minutes. Guessing its a match-up thing or something, Hooker started both previous games against SacSt.
-
If the Lives Stats are correct, looks like UND is starting Anderson/Hooker/Huff/Nash/Traylor.

No. Available for free on WatchBigSky.com or the Watch Big Sky app for Android or IOS though. Audio is available on Cat Country 100.3 in Grand Forks and through the same on IHeartRadio. Live Stats available here UNDSports.com is also have a chat here

No guesses on the over or under for me but thinking UND covers the spread. The seniors step up big in this one.
-
Line has moved to UND -5 and the O/U is at 146.5.

I think you're confused. A guarantee game is one where there is a one time game that the traveling team gets a set amount of money for playing. This is not the same as a home/home contract where one team travels to another team with the assumption they will play a return game and if it they don't, there is a buyout clause where the team that traveled for the first game is compensated an amount that is agreed to by both parties when the original contract is signed. NDSU/MSU had the second one. MSU exercised and paid the buyout clause because it was substantially better for them financially. You can argue the record thing all you want, but ignoring the monetary difference is ignorant. The benefit recordwise was a loss vs. SMU and a win against a D2 instead of a what was a likely loss against NDSU, though would have been fun to see since they would have been healthy at the time.

If UND wins the conference tournament they will very likely play in one of the "First Four" games (formerly the play-in games). Winning that game does count for the team/conference as a tournament victory/credit when used to determine payouts, so there is a small advantage in that sense. You do end up matching up with the overall number 1 or 2 seed after it but being a 15 or 16 seed that isn't in a "First Four" game isn't much better (assuming you win it).
-
They got a game at home and the contract then required them to play in Fargo or pay a buyout. They chose to pay the buyout. You of all people should understand how contracts work. Please feel to explain how they didn't fulfill the contract though. You mean that one time home/home contract that GT said was all he would accept and Faison relented sent him last year? Yep, pretty much the same thing I guess.
-
So in your theory, NDSU gets both a home game every other year and a guarantee for the years it is played in Grand Forks? Quite the imagination you have there...
-
How much of that projected $4 million has to do with increasing not only scholarships but adding additional sports to be at the FBS minimum? Some schools are already at that threshold and others only need to add 1. Makes a significant difference for those that would have to add 2 or 3 sports.
-
I don't think the 11-12 rule for the is set in stone and can change year to year depending on the strength of the field but will usually be right around 11-12. The "First Four" games are made up of the 4 lowest auto qualifiers playing each other and the last 4 at large-teams picked playing each other.

IPFW's coach is the real deal. He got robbed on coach of the year in the Summit.

Having a choice, I'd take playing NAU in the title game over Weber hands down. UND currently favored by 3.5 points on a neutral court. Previous meetings this season were an 11 point win by UND in Grand Forks the end of January and a 6 point win by Sac St in Sacromento the end of February.
