I tend to agree Petey but the tough question is, whose place do they take?

There should be a choice for both. I still say we need both goalies playing well. Who says you need one goalie thoughout the whole playoffs. Seem to recall that we did OK when both Karl and Kollar rotated up to the Final Four. WHEN we get to the final four, I vote for Brandt on experience alone. Until then, I vote that we get both in the rotation.

CC is better than there record indicates. Surely better than the suckholes you swept last week. As someone pointed out, the early part of the year had them playing at something well short of full strength. Not sure how Duluth does on the Olympic sheet but that could be a factor. Also, don't underestimate the impact of altitude come the 2nd period on Saturday. I predict a split which is what I am hoping for. With my planned Sioux sweep that sets things up nicely for next weekend.

I admire the students taking action to try and get this mess resolved. Something needs to be done. The fans at last Saturdays game should be ashamed. The CC coach this week talked about what a morgue that place was and how the silence actually fired up their team. I guess I have a little problem with the standing rule. Someone designing a $100 million building should have had the foresight that students like to stand during the game. I remember games in Ralph I where the student section down near the glass and penalty box stood the whole game long. Again, I've said before that the fact that the student section is not along the glass is a joke. Seems to me that there could have been a way to design that section where the view corridor would not have been obstructed if students in the student section chose to stand. If you go to a game and want to stand and cheer the whole game then more power to you. Maybe it'll get the slug behind you out of his seat to cheer as well. Trouble is that the seats in the new Ralph are too comfortable. All that leather making people lazy. Let's go back to cold steel bleachers. That'll get people back on their feet.

I agree 100%. It makes no sense at all to have the students in the upper bowl. They need to be down along the boards in the end where the Sioux shoot twice. I wish I new the best way to get that accomplished. That being said, that is no excuse for student's not providing more noise, no matter where they're sitting. So you can't swear. Big deal. You shouldn't be swearing anyway. How much creativity does it take to come up with the chant &^*% the Gophers? There are plenty of ways to support the team without swearing. Take a lesson from the Crazies at Cameron. The Farce always found a way to get the old Ralph rockin. As PCM said, with all the high teck gadgets in that place, somebody should be coming up with something to get people off their cans. 11,000 + fans watching the #1 team in the country and every shot I saw of the crowd on Saturday was of people sitting on their hands. Disgusting. Ralph is rolling over in his grave. He built the area for people to come and cheer on the Fighting Sioux, not an arena where women can showcase their new outfit and look pretty for the big screen. Here's an idea, cheer for 60 minutes of hockey and then head over to Whiteys for the social aspect.

I disagree. Sioux are a better team with two goalie rotation, at least through the rest of the regular season. I'm still not convinced that one has won or lost the job over the other. I think both have been solid this year. Also, am getting TV feed here in CS. Jeez is the crowd dead. What is this, corporate night?
