I have the following Frozen Four prediction. West winner = UND (Too much firepower, Zach won't be denied) Midwest Winner = Gophs (Tourny tough and great offensive talent) East Winner = Badgers (Superior goal tending will be the difference) Northeast Winner = BC (Skilled offensive players) I have UND and BC in the championship game with the Sioux taking it all.

This pisses me off. I live in the heart of College Hockey USA. My only hope is that FSN picks the games up.... which won't happen. Christ, I get over 100 cable channels... 90% of those are home shopping networks and info-mercials.

Right... I caught that as well. Guys like that will never wake up. The WCHA (Hockey West) plays a superior brand of hockey than the boys on the east, but we never get the credit for it. That's okay.... The WCHA will just keep piling up the hardware while the boys on the east talk about how great they are. I would hate to see anybody but the Sioux win the national title, but I'd rather have anybody from the WCHA (yep, even the Goph's) win it than an eastern team.

16 Holy Cross vs. 1 North Dakota 10 Miami vs. 7 Denver This is the official West bracket. We got a smooth ride to the frozen four.

Two areas of the game ticked me off. The wrap around goal that went between Brandt's legs and the give-away in our zone that led to a goal. Those were way too easy to give up. Again, that was one of the finest NCAA hockey games I have ever watched.

Wow... This is one of the finest NCAA hockey games I have ever seen. Glad I finally get a Sioux game on TV. Let's hope we take it to them in the 3rd period and win this one. Anybody know if the regionals will be nationally televised next weekend?

I think Blais is a little more than annoyed with JPar. He sounded rather pissed to me and only pointed out that JPar had a good game in the net after the announcer pointed it out to him. Blais' comment on JPar making some nice saves..."He's supposed to."

The radio broadcast is cool... but I'm still pissed that I live in an area that covers EVERY freaking WCHA tourny game EXCEPT the #1 ranked Sioux in the opening round. Who in the hell is running FSN anyways?

Wow, I couldn't have said it better myself. Bo is a fantastic hockey player, but Zach Parise is by far the most skilled hockey player in college.

Realizing this is an elementary question.... The Sioux have the #1 seed in the WCHA tourny. Does that mean they play the winner of the play-in game? If they win that then they are in the chamionship game? Help me out here....

Of course, the NFL wouldn't have much use for hockey players. Maybe they should try their luck in the NHL.

Murray, without question. Keep an eye on Suter at UW though. He is as good a defenseman as Parise is a forward. Both of them will have long careers in the NFL.

Like you, I am from Grand Forks as well. The wife (who is also from GF) and I now live in Wisconsin and get back to GF a few times a year. My brother-in-law is a season ticket holder takes me to the games when I am in town. Also like you, the trip to GF is incomplete unless you hit the Pepper a few times. However, my first stop is usually Shang-ri-la. God is that place good!

Nah, I would have voted for the Sioux. They have a tougher schedule and just came off a road sweep of the hottest team in the country. Also, I don't think the #1 ranking puts a bigger target on the Sioux. It doesn't seem to matter where the Sioux are ranked, teams bring their "A" game to the rink when we play.
