Outstanding run by the men in green. The seniors turned up the leadership at the end of the season to set up a strong finish. I can't believe what this team has accomplished after losing Deano, Bo, Zach and for the most part, Brady. Congrats to DU. They were the better team. Can't wait until next season. Something tells me we will see the green machine at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

This week's Sports Illustrated has a two page article on the Frozen Four. There are a few quotes in there that were nice. On the WCHA - The WCHA has become the "monster of college hockey." It goes on to talk about 5 of the last 8 NCAA championship teams and the past 3 (now 4) Hobey Baker award winners coming from the WCHA. Denver coach on The Ralph - "That might be the best facility in the country." "Not college facility, any facility." Anyhow... It's nice to see the WCHA finally getting some national recognition. We have only been dominating college hockey for years.

WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Got back from the big kindergarten play and popped the tape in. The Sioux just absolutely smoked the goofers. I don't think I've ever seen so many bodies flying through the ice as I did tonight. Great game by the Fabain and the rest of the boys. Got a tough one on Saturday. Lets get #8!

Just woke up (Gotta love 3rd shift) and caught the score of the DU/CC game. I figured DU would win, but not by that margin. I think the DU/UND matchup is destiny for several reasons. First things first... It's Goofer season baby!!!!

Holy responses to my little dillema! LOL... We had a family discussion again about the big event(s) taking place. My son thinks I should be watching the game. That way he can stay home with me and watch it too. The wife thinks the school play should be attended and then I can watch the tape of the game when we return. My daughter? Well, she thinks I should stay home and watch the game because "I know you really like the Sioux daddy." That settles it... I gotta go to the play. How in the hell can I not with such an understanding kid? The only problem is avoiding some a$$ munch between the play and my arrival at home who wants to tell me the score. GO SIOUX!

So I'm all ready for the big game on Thursday. Got the night off of work and I am all set for the clash between the Sioux and the hated Goofers.... Until an "Oh by the way" comment from the wife that is... Wife - Don't forget we have Taylor's (daughter) school play next week. Me - Sure, when is it. Wife - It's Thursday night at 6:30 pm. Me - Okay, I look forward to... IT'S WHEN?? Wife - It's next Thursday at 6:30 pm. It should only last a few hours. Me - You gotta be (*^$% kidding me!!!!!!! So the wife and I talk about the ABSOLUTE importance of the hockey game. You know, it's a big deal. She tells me that I can miss the school play and that she won't be upset. YEA RIGHT!!!!! Made that mistake before and still hear about it years later. Gotta take the high road here and miss the game. I can tape it... but it's not nearly as fun watching it.

Should be a fun Frozen Four to watch. Having all WCHA teams in the four team dance is a huge statement to college hockey across the country. We have all grown tired of hearing about Hockey East and the love affair they have with the national media. That being said, UND is on top of it's game right now and I fully expect them to beat Minny by 2+ goals. The championship game will be the tough one no matter if it's DU or CC. One thing is certain from my vantage point: The Gophers are clearly the worst team in the Frozen Four and I am damn happy about playing them in game 1.

This is just ridiculous... This is the most lopsided game I've seen called in a long time. 3-0 Sioux... even with the crowd AND the refs against us. Keep it going boys!!!!

The biggest problem with your post is that Hirsch did not high five anyone leaving the ice. Some fan reached over and tried to high five him. Get your facts straight. Wow! Lots of attention over the "nut job" comment. Gees, that was my nice version. Can't remember who it was who asked (And really don't care), but you were interested in my parenting skills. I'm a parent twice over. I even have a wife, a dog and a cat. All are doing quite well, thanks.
