10:56 left. We have the puck in their zone constantly. We just keep missing the damn net... as I type this, Porter just missed again. Unreal... This game might end on a Denver lucky break goal in the final minutes.

I am not getting the TV coverage, so I am listening to it on the internet. It sounds as if we have dominated most of the game.

Damn it! My freaking cable company is failing me AGAIN! I pay upwards of $100 a month for well over 100 channels. 90% of those are BS shopping networks, infomercials and other crap. Something has to give... most likely my subscription.

Is the Sioux/Denver game being carried by DataFlix? There isn't a television station or otherwise in my area that is showing the game. Anybody know?

I'm not concerned. A win is a win. Teams tend to play down to the level of their competition. However, they will have to step it up against Denver with a home crowd.

I'm confident in a Sioux romp.. Hey, I'm a fan and can afford to be that way! That being said, I think the Sioux dominate this game from start to finish. The Sioux will have ample room to skate on the big sheet of ice and will get a bunch of breakaway chances. I like the Sioux 8-1.

I agree with this. JPar in the first game. Brandt in the second and subsequent games if he plays well. On Brandt, I thought he spent way too much time on the ice during the Gopher game. He made some nice saves, but it seemed to me that he dropped to the ice too soon and allowed the Gophers to skate around him for an easy angle goal a few times. The "wrap around" game winner was a super-softy too. Of course, turning the puck over deep in our zone is just friggin' wrong. You can't win games against strong opponants doing that crap.

I think the Sioux could use a mascot that is completely unrelated to their team name if they felt the need to do it. For example, the University of Alabama's team name is the Crimson Tide. Their mascot is an elephant.

I like Wisconsin in that bracket if their goal tending remains hot. They have some decent young players led by Robbie Earl. They might surprise a few teams.
