  1. That's it put a mask on your face will get broken... To all the haters on the cuffs being green guess what the team wears gloves! The cuffs aren't going to be noticeable in the game, in fact it will probably look better with the black gloves going into the green fabric like the rest of the jersey looks. Quit pouting, you'll all end up with a jersey because you are gnomes that post on here, its just a matter of when. If the cuffs are too much for you buy a green jersey. Jeez your faces are fragile!
  2. I'll break face here just for a second.... The new uni's are traditional and a nice clean look, always a safer play. The best thing about the switch to Reebok is the death of the black jersey. We didn't win a national championship with the last jersey design, this could be a good change. BREAK YO FACE!!!!!
  3. Finley is in Grand Forks over the summer because: - he was an instructor at the hockey camp - all his friends for the past 4 years are here - we have the finest hockey facility in North America, a place where he can train and skate all summer Yes they did something stupid, but to call Finley out on him not focusing on his profession hearkens back to some vendetta you have against him. BREAK YO' FACE!
  4. It's time to break face, these games for the next 5 years really mean nothing to the casual fan. We are in a five team conference that even if we won we wouldn't hang a banner for. It's hard to invest into a lame duck team. Once we get back into the playoff picture football will gain steam again. Until then hockey will continue to widen the gap.
  5. Its funny how players can take clubs to arbitration when they feel they have a good year. I bet Toronto was wishing they could take Blake to arbitration over the way he's performed under that contract...face breakin material right there.
  6. It's time to break face....Forney has an offer to come back on a limited scholarship. He knows where UND stands, its up to him to decide whether he wants to come back or not. That's face breakin material.
  7. RBK is the manufacturer of the jerseys. They differ from Gemini in the material they are made with and the cut of the jersey. North Dakota will be the first college team to wear the infamous "RBK Edge" jersey. This is the jersey made famous by the NHL. It has a rounded hemline at the bottom which creates some awkward uniform designs. Most likely the new North Dakota jerseys will consist of horizontal striping directly at the hemline or vertical striping of some sort to make the curved hem less noticeable.
  8. Reebok is making the jerseys not Gemini, so you guys can get off your lovefest with them.
  9. All nickname supporting alumni should back a pro-nickname candidate on the Standing Rock reservation, that way by the time the September election rolls around he can be on the council fighting our battles for us. He should have no problems getting elected if the nickname opinion at Standing Rock is anything like that at Spirit Lake. Is this possible or are there more hoops to jump through? Can anyone shed some light about how one gets nominated for these tribal councils?
  10. I just saw Vande Velde in a white bronco headed towards the Pembina Crossing!
  11. Does anybody get the feeling that UND might be making a uniform switch as early as next season? Tomorrow they are selling a majority of their equipment which leads me to believe we are switching manufacturers. Currently we are with Nike/Bauer for most of the gear, is there an outside possibility we might be switching to RBK who makes all NHL jerseys and most of the USHL material? Another option is us going to Adidas like our buddies in Wisco. It would also make sense with the impending name change for UND to get a set of unis without the logo on it in case the Standing Rock 7 get their way. Am I off base here or is anybody with me on this?
  12. Guess what guys the RPI is just a number nothing more nothing less. We made the tournament, let's just worry about beating the team they put on the ice in front of us instead of all this number hogwash! That's face breaking stuff right there!
  13. Matt Greene's BAC the night of his DUI is worthy enough to push him slightly ahead of Duncan when it comes to leadership off the ice.
  14. I'd agree with you if he had a post-season title of some sort under him but he doesn't. CC has been an underachieving program since the days of Donny Lucia. Face-breaking info right there.
  15. Looking at the season as of right now what coaches do you think will be looking for work elsewhere come next season. I think the Scott Owens era is over in Colorado. The Tigers were a consensus top 5 team in the nation at the beginning of the year, now they are done before the 15th of March. I think Lucia saved himself by making it to the Final 5, if they Gophs would have tanked to St. Cloud I would suspect he would spend the 2010 season behind the bench of Tony Lucia's Beer League Hockey team. O yeah, Hakstol is probably getting the pink slip as well, haha!
  16. Bozak bombs a slap shot top shelf 2-1 UM
  17. Would someone mind throwing the score out there?
  18. Does anyone know how the Augustana game last year drew that big of a number?
  19. I don't think San Diego State was shocked by anything, that program has been in the doldrums of college football for quite some time now.
  20. Hopefully the guy with the dreads leaves us for Supercuts. --Breakin face "Still Rocks the Bowl Cut"
  21. That move was ridiculous, it wouldn't hold up on a penalty shot in an actual game, but it was perfect and creative for a skills competition type atmosphere. --Breakin Face "Mastered the Triple Deke at Six Months"
  22. UND Alumni officially all eliminated from the playoffs with Calgary and David Hale being the latest to get sent packing. Tough run this year with Parise, Zajac, Commodore, Lee, Hale, and Bochenski all getting sent home in the first round. --Breakin Face "Still Cheering for the Kansas City Scouts"
  23. I saw Alex Gaustad from Grafton, Pat Arnason from Red River, and David Burdick from Fargo South listed. Any other North Dakota boys out there? --Breakin face "Peace Garden Pride"
  24. I have seen better home schedules in the Cuban Developmental League than what's South Dakota is throwing on the field at home next year. St. Ambrose, Culver-Stockton, Missouri S & T, and Southern Oregon? The NAIA schedules look like the NFL compared to that. For the record the Danger Dome as you refer to it, is a sad sad attempt at a catchy nickname. --Breakin face "The After in Before and After Pictures"
