Justifiably, we were all frustrated with the playoff selection fiasco, but these last two games show where this program truly is against quality opponents.

For the good of the program, it’s time he looked in the mirror and stepped down.

If we are content being a borderline playoff team with a below average defense that announcers identify as “NDU”, then we can keep the status quo. If we want to be anything more, a change in leadership is necessary.

Maybe the NCAA should just put the 13 at large spots up for bid. Just admit that the 13 highest bidders get into the field and nothing else matters.

At some point, you need to go all in and put the necessary resources into helping this program take the next step. Home playoff games are a critical part of that process. I don’t want to hear that “we put in a very competitive bid”. The truth is that once again the UND Athletic Department did not get the job done.

Interesting that UND is only faced with a 1% budget reduction compared to 5.48% at NDSU, which is correlated to "UND’s strategic decision to significantly increase its online course offerings". UND's proactive strategy appears to be paying off.
