  2. I don’t know what info Schlossman has, but I think news of a portal forward may be close.
  3. I did see Luke Strand on another speculation list for what it’s worth.
  4. lol we don’t have 8 right now.
  5. We turned over half our roster 2 years ago, and the freshmen class that came in to replace what we lost wasn’t up to par.
  6. I had wondered if this might be the case, actually. I knew he was okay with another year of juniors but wasn’t told whose idea it was.
  7. I was just going to comment this. He’s from Eden Prairie.
  8. Only one of them is likely. The other two are pipe dreams.
  9. I think it’s still just one bachelor’s. I think you only get two if one is a Bachelor’s of Arts and the other is a Bachelor’s of Science. I have a B.S and a B.A and that was how I understood it but I could be wrong.
  10. I don’t think they have any say.
  11. They are both BS, so it’s probably just a double major.
  12. Huh thought when I said college ready the age thing was covered. My bad
  13. Yeah, USHL is never super reliable. I go by game line charts. As some examples as why it’s unreliable: They thought Jake Schmaltz was Nick and Jordan’s brother. They also have Cody Croal as committed to Maine, which is also incorrect (obviously)
  14. I really don’t have an issue with Albrecht coming back. It’s going to be hard enough trying to find Judd’s replacement out of the portal with all our returning forwards. Reality is if the guys ahead of him play to their potential than he’s a depth guy. It’s not like he’s been playing big minutes for 4 years like Hain and Senden. He’s been a depth guy his entire career. Of course the fact we don’t have any other college ready forwards in the pipeline is a completely different story. Because that’s really why Albrecht is allowed to come back.
  15. He recently committed there this winter, yes.
  16. No because there’s no chance they are looking to do that.
  17. I think that’s exactly what they’re trying to do. Which is why I think they are looking for D in the portal with multiple years of eligibility. Don’t want to have a D core of just freshmen and 5th years.
  18. It was discussed in the Committed Recruits thread yesterday. Schlossman hinted at this development with Strathmann weeks ago also but I think everyone missed it.
  19. Yeah. Trust me, yesterday I was borderline panicking.
  20. Right, I actually had the same reaction. I mean they could still decide to bring him in, but at least they’ve had the discussions about it and all parties are on the same page.
  21. All I know is that both Strathmann and his advisor/agent have no issues with playing another year in the USHL.
  22. No, he’ll go back to play another year in the USHL. I heard this previously as well.
  23. I mean, when they commit a lot of the recruits mention a connection with the coaching staff as a main factor so it is at least one factor.
  24. Not only do I think Blake and Gaber should be split up, but I also think Berg (a shooter), should be on a different line than Gaber (also a shooter). So I’d switch things around in that aspect. Haven’t decided what I prefer for lines yet. Gaber also does that thing where he holds onto the puck too long and eventually turns it over and it really pisses me off. I hope he stops doing that
