The Phoenix Coyotes are not pursuing Ballard like the Devils did Parise. The Coyotes are content with letting Ballard (and Jones) develop in college. I would have liked Parise to stay as much as everyone else here, but it just didn't happen. I certainly don't think that he bailed on the team. Zach felt he was ready, so did the Devils.

I think that Vanek is a threat to sign. If Buffalo wants him they'll get him. Either way I think Vanek goes and plays in Europe next year if he doesn't sign with the Sabres. Ballard I think stays. As the Phoenix guy said, the Coyotes are happy to let Ballard and Jones stay and develop in college. Unless Ballard wants to go...he's gonna stick around

Greene and Stafford are the most likely to split, but I really hope they both stay...they'll be needed next year. I would be surprised if Jones or Bo left, there's not much reason to believe either will.
