Must be the damned Gopher Hobey Baker Conspiracy... So have you guys actually seen Lessard play, or are you just trying to rationalize what happened? Lessard was WCHA POY, Lead the NCAA in points, and USCHO POY...this isn't exactly a no name player we're talking about. When Sejna was a Sophomore he scored 50 points. He upped that to 82 last year when he won the Hobey. Lessard went from 37 to 53. Parise 62 to 55 (I'm aware of the schedule last year, but are a lot of Hobey voters?) Junior Lessard earned this award, plain and simple. Parise was not robbed...Panzer was robbed.

Ouch...I actually have a friend that attends SCSU, she just laughs at all the grief I give her about the school (mostly hockey-related...as in the infamous Dahl Stahl), of course, she's not an Avs fan either Was that protest two years ago at the Concrete Center? My friend and headed down there and took crap for our jersies (complete with new Sioux logo). The weirdest part was my friend was basically being called a racist by someone with a swastika on their sign (he's Jewish). My favorite sign had to be "Would you have a priest as a mascot?" Because Providence,Wake Forest, and Fargo Shandly HS do... They don't really like doing research there. The majority of fans though were great and apologized to us for the asinine display we had too witness...other than the game And you don't go there yet, so you can still make fun of them
