  1. Great road win. One more to go for home ice. Huge effort, boys!
  2. Just find a way to get to Fargo - with duct tape and barbed wire if you have to. Please. UND 2 Miami 0 (Friday) UND 4 Miami 3 F/OT (Saturday) St. Cloud State at North Dakota next weekend
  3. South Beach is a ton of fun and there are great Cuban restaurants everywhere!
  4. TV options or will it be double Hennessy on the rocks?
  5. Good events unfolding today...now to finish the deal with a win tonight. In the words of Bubbs, "Let's solidify our standing so we can make it to the Noshinal Tournament."
  6. Saw a win last night in person, hope to see a win tonight from the den. UND 3 Omaha 1. Would love to see a confident-building night in the net for Mr. Cam Johnson.
  7. Hot start, hang on, get some confidence. 6-3 UND. Rinse, repeat on Saturday. I sense a hat trick is coming for someone this weekend.
  8. Moy's Bracketology on USCHO.com has UND on the outside looking in. His rationale is that Boston College is the "conference winner" of the Big East as their win percentage is higher (played fewer games). The way the Eagles have looked the past couple of weekends it would be a stretch to see them coming out of that tournament but then again....that's why they lace 'em up. North Dakota needs wins and help. The only bracket that matters anyway is Sunday morning, March 19th. Dislaimer: This is freakin' depressing read: http://www.uscho.com/bracketology/2017/02/22/if-ncaa-tournament-started-today-whos-in-and-whos-out/#ixzz4ZRUfDoDS West Regional (Fargo): 13 Ohio State vs. 2 Minnesota-Duluth 12 St. Cloud State vs. 8 Massachusetts-Lowell or West Regional (Fargo): 15 Boston College vs. 4 Minnesota 12 St. Cloud State vs. 8 Massachusetts-Lowe
  9. Some call it delusional, I call it optimistic. Now their backs are against the collective wall so we will see what we are dealing with. The emotional reality of Senior Weekend -- the hard truth that this could really be the last two games they will ever play at The Ralph could charge this team up. After that who knows as there is plenty to play for beyond pride alone for the next three, four weeks. I still plan on walking into Scheels Arena on March 24 to watch the boys play.
  10. Hoping to reverse the trend of 0-2-1 record this year when I attend Friday games. Gotta have these both and now we need to start pulling for St Cloud, Ohio State, and others to start losing.
  11. UND needs a comeback or its a record of 1-8-1 this year vs teams that will finish in the top 3 in the conference. That just simply won't get it done.
  12. Out of state, anyone have a South/Davie score?
  13. New Orleans would be one place I would love to visit with fellow UND fans. I am not sure if the Pelicans Arena is configured for ice or not, though. Sioux fans, in the French Quarter? If that don't make you whistle Dixie I don't know what will. Do it.
  14. I think I did a simple Google Images search for "2000 UND Hockey Jersey" or something to that effect and this photo (and others like it) came up. I chose this one as it was the only one in the lot with a full frontal view of the jersey. (not to be confused with doing a Google images search for "full frontal view"). Ha Ha...I'll show myself out.
  15. Que up South vs Davies Saturday for the right to get to state.
  16. As Schloss noted over the weekend, the makeup of Olympic rosters next year could be a determining factor for a lot of high NHL draft picks. The possibility of making a U.S. Olympic Team if NHL players are out of the picture is intriguing to many. I would have to think Boeser is among them since he missed out on Gold with the Juniors in January.
  17. Hi all.... I am in seek of a 2000 National Championship season black geometric replica jersey (photo below). Size M preferable but a Large will do. I do not need a players number on it although that would be nice. This was the style jersey worn in the 2000 NCAA Frozen Four Semifinal vs. Maine (Karl Goehring greatness). Just looking to add to my collection of jerseys to wear to games. If you have one to offer, please send me a PM.
  18. It is worth noting that against the "tougher" teams who will finish ahead of UND in the standings- Denver & Duluth, UND is 0-5-1 this year. They are 8-4 in league play vs everyone else. If we keep that record going, everything's going to be ok for making the NCAAs.
  19. CC deserves better than the fate they've received in the last handful of years. They are a quality program with a strong hockey heritage - I miss them among the top half of the WCHA/NCHC.
  20. UND at #10 as of this morning
  21. Central has so much offensive firepower. Hard to think there is a team that can slow them down. Red River might on a perfect night. We we will see if that is possible in the next two weeks.
  22. Maybe this will be a Garth Brooks concert all over again, so much demand for tickets that they'll agree to play a second night?
  23. Tonight's Central at South game will determine the #4 seed and #5 seed. If South wins, they host Devils Lake, if they lose, they will hit the road. So simply said, the Bruins and their fans should start making Valentine's plans for Devils Lake.
  24. Top 5 Teams I'd love to see in Fargo along with North Dakota: 1) Minnesota - It would be great to see them play on Friday vs. Vermont where they could either lose (see Holy Cross, 2006) or win so that UND would play them for a right to go to the Frozen Four - could you imagine what Scheels would be like?! 2) Wisconsin - they are making some noise and still have a ways to go but they could win the Pig10 tournament and get an auto-berth. Their fans are fun, true hockey fans, and often travel well. 3) Denver - if they keep winning like they are, they will likely go out East. They will have a revenge factor from last April but it would be a great storyline to see them come to Fargo and playing UND with everything on the line Saturday, March 25. 4) Boston College - I know, I know, they won't play west of Manchester but it's always fun to end a Boston school's season at tournament time. York can watch the @$$ kicking with both eyes this time. 5) Harvard - see the line above. Besides, beating up smart kids is fun.
