  1. I talked to Gino a little while ago and he made some interesting comments as well.
  2. ok, I will be the first one here to say it. Robert Morris has zero chance of winning this thing. I don't care about what has happened in years past and last year with Yale. Robert Morris is no Yale. look for Miinesota to cruise to like a 5-1 win or something like that.
  3. attendance in cincy will be brutal. last year in the regional in toledo with miami there they drew 2900 and 2400 for both games the redhawks were in. I'm sure the first game was bolstered a little bit with Notre Dame fans as well. 2000 grand tops for these games unless Ferris can bring bus loads of fans from michigan.
  4. his game was built for the college game, doubt we ever see anything significant from hm in the NHL.
  5. sconi needs to take advantage of tired legs tonight
  6. one wmu layer has something to play for -cichy. to end his former teams season. whether or not that translates to others we'll see. murray is a good coach and will have them ready to play spoiler today. will hak and co have their boys ready. we'll see.
  7. yes and there is no tv.
  8. I have 80% confidence in Wisconsin and Lowell winning today. however the confidence in UND is less than 50%.
  9. respectfuly disagree. yale last year, maybe. however they were a top 10 team all year long and just tailed off at the end. MSU, yes. duluth and Wisconsin were two of the better teams in the nation the those years. wisconsin was ranked number for the majority of the year until elliot got hurt in practice in late january that year and had a little slump for a few weeks and the gophers over took them. they still ended up as the number one or two overall seed entering the ncaa's that season. duluth was a top five team for most of the season and hit a slump in late feb. had they won a game or two at the final five they could have been a one seed that season. everyone brings up yale from last year and how they snuck in, and that could be a blue print for sucess or duluth losing the first day at the final five and then going on to win it all. or denver losing in the first round of the wcha playoffs and going on to win it. who knows maybe miami will win it all and then the blue print will be to tank the regular season and just go on a playoff run.
  10. this team can't score when it counts and no one should be surprised about tonights result as it has been the same story all year. they may catch a break and get into the tourney tomorrow but in reality it won't get out of next weekend even if it makes as they can't score. tonights loss had nothing to do with adjustments as again, they couldn't score.
  11. Union is up 2-0 on Cornell
  12. why did the WCHA keep this weekend's tournament named the Final Five? there aren't five teams or five games this weekend.
  13. I'm with you.
  14. I'll root for OSU and Penn State to lose, but won't cheer for the gophers or badgers to win.
  15. based on todays game looks like if UND is in with following-win one game, cornell or colgate lose tomorrow and no more lower seeds other than what would be out of NCHC if UND doesn't win of course.
  16. a preview for most of the regionals next week.
  17. I thought michigan traveled well, is that just a myth?
  18. If UND wins the NCHC there is an outside chance they could end up in st. paul as a three seed. If they only win once this weekend and end up as a four seed I'm guessing Cincy or Bridgeport.
  19. my god you are getting worse. from Toga to Tipga.
  20. I didn't really notice it until the 2006 west regional when I heard gopher fans saying it during the holy cross game and that following season I started to hear UND fans do it.
  21. he must be a big Animal House fan
  22. Toga! Toga! Toga!
  23. UND really needs Cornell to lose to Union on Friday.
