I've never been on the fire Hak bandwagon and never will be. I just have a very high standard of play I expect to see. it's one thing to lose but it's also another thing to have a performance like they did on friday, it was the season opener for god sakes and they played like it was a july scrimmage and didn't want to be there. I actually believe the number two ranking was way too high for this team to start the season, 8-12 would have been more realistic and this weekend proved that- a pathetic performance fri and an underwhellming win on sat. doesn't mean that the number ranking won't be more realstic near the end of the season though.

it's an observation dumbass, so do you think UND looked like the number 2 or 3 team in the nation or for that matter even a top 20 team Friday night?

goes to show pollsters don't actually watch games as anyone who witnessed friday's game wouldn't have even had UND ranked.

ok so now we're we are trying so say BSU is the 96-97 Sioux? this love affair by our fan base with BSU has got to stop. UND needs to start treating these games like they are playing DU,Miami or anyone of our other rivals. that's part of the problem is it seems like UND doesn't want to beat up on them.

this team, the same as last year will have zero margin for error as it doesn't have the offensive skill top to bottom to make up for any mistakes. the d better find a way to correct those mistakes from last night in a hurry or this thing could snowball as it is first team to three will win the majority of games.

these were two very bad football teams. und is no more than a 3 or 4 win team and I hate to think what the likes of montana state, montana and eastern washington will do to this team. this is a three or four year process to get this thing turned around as you have to filter out mussman's palyers and hope Bubba can recruit.

I'm sorry but these preseason polls are a joke. there is absolutely no reason NDSU should be ranked #1. yes, they have won the last three titles but will be lucky to make the post season this year with all their losses to graduation and a new coaching staff. the poll is for who you think will be number one at the end of the year not who won it last year or the year before or year before.

I don't think that has anything to do with it anymore as KVLY has done all the Bison FB games the last few seasons. UND reached an agreement with Midco to do all the production for UND games and left WDAZ/WDAY sitting out in the cold.
