I saw INCH for ever what its worth that they said one possible idea that has been floated around for years is the Tech move to the CCHA and BSU come t the WCHA. Why would the CCHA go for that they would then have 13 teams? We would also lose the Cup as I thought Tech was the custodian of it.

I keep hearing that there is some exemption tied into uaa? Hak made mention of it last week on the coach's show. what is it? plus doesn't uaa pay for our travel up there, I thought at one time they did?

what other teams might apply other than BSU? I saw that Air Force has said they would not. I'm assuming the other members of the CHA but would there be a surprise team? I personally would love to see omaha apply.

I love that trip too. I've been there the last two times and will go back as often as I can.

so you're talking just attendance for the opening game? if that's the case if the arena only holds 4000 you aren't going to pack 3500 in the ailes.

7500 for the arena, I don't think so. I saw that when we were there two weeks ago and the arena was sold out it was their first sell out since the last time we were there in Jan 2007.

maybe the gophs think they are entitled to opening every new arena.

I believe they go to unh next year. they did open agannis arena at BU but that was 6-7 years ago and nothing since. Ohio State was 2 years ago or last year I believe. I don't recall them going to omaha or alaska?

what is UND's position on this, I've never heard if they are for or against. BSU may not have the votes now but there will be three months for them to get them. I'm willing to bet one of the big dogs in the conference steps up and helps them get in. On a side note has there ever been any talks of say alabama-huntsville joining say the CCHA?
