I agree the Gophers did pretty well considering they were playing a hungry strong and wonderful Sioux team. This may be the toughest Sioux team ever... It is the most fun to watch. Yes the forwards are really doing the job getting out shot and out scored every game... I think that Greene is not a good passer or skater for this league. He struggles in open ice. I think Sioux would be better off with someone who is not so selfish... He doesn't seem to care about the team or the consequences of his momentum stopping penalties... I think the highly touted young forwards better toughen up and get something done. The first and almost only goal of the weekend was pretty greasy. I don't think the forwards have been able to get anything going on a consistant basis. Rory McMahon has played well in the games that I have seen. P.L. and Jordie Parise are solid in the nets. I think the forwards need to get hungry and bring some sustained forechecking and shots...

I would like to see some sustained pressure and body checking. I think they need to put Rory, Mike Prpch and Spirko and get some goals. Why not put Mason, Canady and Quinn together and get some veteran leadership... Let's put Schneider and Fuhrer together on the PP points.. lets make sure someone is going in the corners. make sure we are not screening our goalie and engaging the opponents not waiting for them to come to them. D need better gap control. I would love to coach these kids and 500 is not good enough for the Sioux...

I think if Matt Greene is the captain they will be in trouble the rest of the way. As soon as they get in the game he is in the box... Goal was pure luck. forwards need to get some urgency to score. I think if the sioux are scoring 1 0 2 goals a game they will never be any good because they make at least 5 turnovers a game. Goaltender was the only good thing this weekend. Does Smaby ever cover anyone? What was Schneider doing on the 3rd Wisco goal. Why was he in the neutral zone when Fyling turned it over?

I just got done listening to the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies play the South Carolina Sting Rays and I got to hear Notermann and Spiewak again too bad they were playing against each other. Goalies for the game were Daubensbeck from Wisconsin and Moreland from Grand Forks and SCSU.. Good Game for Atlantic City Score 5-2.. Jason had to leave and get stiches as his visor broke across his upper lips causing some bodily fluids to leak on the ice. He got stiched up and returned to get a few good scoring chances in the third.. Sounded like Kevin was flying around as usual... Wish I could have seen that one.. Let's Go SIOUX!!!!!

College Hockey you need to score more than 2 goals against a team like CC. They are going to score goals. Sioux PP has sucked for about 3 or 4 years. How long has coach hakstol run it?? I think they have plenty of talent. But you need some guys that need to play hard and consistent game in and game out. I hope they don't get swept by CC.. How were the breakout passes? Any forward get hit in the back of the neck? Record vs CC is brutal. I think they need to recruit more SO. MN kids...? I can't believe it Northeastern and CC at home and no points....

Pretty stupid to lose guys in practice from what I heard they didn't hit anyone on Saturday night when it mattered?

How did Brent Brodersen look. He is another cousin of Jason Notermann. He played D on the Twin Cities Team. Not sure what # he was.

Prpch is my favorite guy. I love his smile. Schneider is next Greene and Jones tied for third... I think this team may not be fun to play against. Smaby is a tough kid too!
