I'll be going straight to the game after work today (Friday), but I'm planning to be at Dave and Buster's before Saturday's game. Hopefully I'm not bad luck this year Either way I think I'm sitting in the end of the arena opposite side from the DU student section. Either way I'll be wearing a Black hooded Sioux sweatshirt, so if you see me say hi. Where are people going after the Sioux win on Friday and Saturday?

I'm guessing a HUGE Sioux turnout for the Denver series. We have a group of 12 each night and we didn't get our tickets from the Alumni Association. Hopefully we can turn Magness into a home game for the Sioux. Everybody forgets the Sioux went 0-3-1 in Colorado last year, 0-1-1 vs. DU and 0-2-0 vs CC. I want at least one Sioux victory this weekend, but I predict a sweep. The Sioux fans in Colorado need to see some wins this year. No CC series in CO, so this is our only chance.

Any idea when they will have all the signings done and make an anouncement? Will it be in a couple weeks or months? Just wondering if anyone had an estimate.

What is the deal with this guy? With the "Sioux S" comment, he must be a grad of NDSU (Silo Tech). And as for the comment about officiating, what do you expect from the Governor of "The Land of 10,000 Excuses". Wear the Sioux jersey and shut it, because you lost.

The Student Section was NOT in the corner of the old arena. The students had the entire west side and 40% of the seating. The last thing they need is to send the students to the corner, people need to quit complaining and leave the students alone. I graduated after the first year of the new arena and I remember when the arena was first going up, they were going to give the students 3 lower sections and 3 upper deck sections. Obviously, only 2 lower bowl sections were given, so they could sell more tickets and shaft the students. Being a former student I'm with the students. They are getting scolded for standing?? Think how stupid that really is. How long until REA gets 2 more sections in the lower deck to sell to season ticket holders. REMEMBER they are the U. of North Dakota Fighting Sioux, not the Grand Forks Sioux. It is the University's team not GF's or season ticket holders teams. It is the Students Team and their school, so enjoy that it is in your town.

I'm in Denver also. Is Jackson's or someone going to host the game on Satuday Night? I know they had the game last year. Does anyone know?

Hopefully it is Siembida's last game in Green, Black and White. Goaltending wasn't the problem today, but it didn't help.

I think the Sioux players were with Woog before the game. Well at least they are playing like they were.

The Sioux have scored 1 GOAL in the last 5 periods of hockey. I think the problem is that they don't remember what a GOAL is. Maybe next year we will see a GOAL again. They were kinda cool to see. This is SAD, very very very SAD. Ferris State 3-0 over North Dakota. Wow

It is time we started scoring goals. As good as practice has been this week this is game time. Remember when we had the ability to score 5 goals in a game, not just 1 or 2. Lets do it on the PP. Go Sioux.

Remember the Sioux still need to beat the Pioneers before everyone starts to worry about getting the #3 seed in the Final Five. With that being said, here are my predictions. CC over AA in 2 : No questions on this one. MN over MT in 2 : One close game, one beating. MN-M over UW in 3 : Badgers show pride one night, slaughtered other 2 UND over DU in 3 : Three tough games, DU goes down fighting Duluth over SCSUcks in 3 : Close series, Goaltending wins it for Duluth Sioux possibly are playing the best team in the WCHA, who didn't get home ice. If we don't play good and the holding isn't called the Sioux will have problems making it to St. Paul. Lets worry about how the Final Five will play out next week. Go SIOUX.

After attending the two games in Denver I can tell you this. The Sioux need to flat out play better. Ranny did a great job in net on Saturday and kept us in the game. The problem is that the goaltenders for both teams did well and the lucky break fell to the Pioneers. Give Ranny another chance. I've seen 4 games in CO, 2 vs. CC and 2 vs. DU, and I've only seen the Sioux play 2 good periods. Game 1, Period 1 vs. CC and Game 1, Period 3 vs. DU. This is the reason they went 0-3-1 in CO. Also, the officials were bad at DU. I can understand why Anderson missed so many calls, the only person he ever watched was Greene. The problem is that he blew most of those calls also. Greene earned maybe one of the penaties that were called on him. Let the man check someone without giving him 2 min in the sin bin. Hopefully the Sioux snap out of the funk and show us some good hockey again. I know they can do it.
