What you fail to understand Kracker is that if the name is changed there will still be problems on campus. If the name is changed I'm pretty sure there will be MORE anti-Native actions on campus, due to the fact that some students will blame your Sioux people for the name change. I think the toughest thing for NDSU fans to realize is that their fast start in DI-AA just adds to the proof that DI-AA is a baby step above DII. SDSU is having almost if not the same amount of success as the Bison and they were a middle of the pack team in DII just 2 years ago. All the BS about NDSU having more schollies and better talent in 2 years is BS. Freshman and Sophmores are not the majority of the Bison's starters and some of their "Superior" DI-AA recruits have been redshirted and are in their first year of competition this year. I'm also sick of Bison fans calling themselves DI. Remember you are DI-AA in football, even though your schedule seems to be former DII teams and D8 teams or whatever the he11 Montana Tech is. The only REAL DI program in ND that competes at a championship level at DI is in Grand Forks.

Either way it is pure robbery to charge $10 per ticket service charge when you order the tickets via the web. They got me for a lot of money in "service charges" today also, so I feel your pain.

My guess is that this one will be going to court. I can't see anyway that the NC$$ will remove UND from the list like they did with FSU or Utah. They are going to pick their battle and UND may be it. UND will have to fight to keep the logo and still be allowed all NC$$ post season games at home. They still will take the licensing money from the sale of Fighting Sioux merchandise though.
