  1. UND produces a lot of high quality coaches that a lot of schools would pay dearly to have....
  2. Great players dont necessarily make great coaches. from my experience, its the crappy players that end up being the best coach out there.
  3. Why would he have failed?
  4. Rick Wilson?? probably doesn't want to leave the MN wild but just a thought
  5. Of course no player is going to get what an MLB player gets. heck, Bobby Bonilla is still getting paid more than some Mets players and he doesn't even play anymore....
  6. like ive said before im not a Vikings fan but they could be a top 4 team in the NFC.
  7. winning a championship as a player is like saying "Jimmy Garoppolo" knows how to win the big game each time he gets there..
  8. I think that would be pretty devastating if he left.....
  9. It's pretty strange why he can't get a job at the NCAA level but I know when the Michigan Tech job was open, someone asked him if he would go there and he said they couldn't afford him (this was when he was an assistant at UND).
  10. I thought I read somewhere that Eades wanted more out of the ownership group (commitment to the team) and they didn't agree. More or less a different vision of how a program should be ran. Fargo has been all in since they got into the league and they are willing to do whatever it takes to win. It will probably be a better fit for Eades.
  11. never called you out specifically but you have been one of the more vocal people in the past about getting rid of Hak. Eades name has always been tossed around for being a coach because "he knows how to win", I'm just pointing out that the Eades supporters should let it go, as he wont be coaching at UND for a long time because of his past indiscretions during his last tenure here.
  12. Build a bridge and get over it guys, Eades will not be the HC at UND. He has too much baggage that UND does not want to touch. When Hak went to Sioux Falls they were in last place and the following year he turned them around....
  13. maybe he was seeing what the Blues were going to do with Hitchcock....

  15. definitely sad news. Jim Bollman Sr (there is a Jim Bollman Jr, who is a spiting image of his father) did a lot for the community and that should never be forgotten. Not only do I remember him from his time on the radio but his community involvement is what stands out the most to me.
  16. this is becoming a big mess...i know zimmer is dropping the hammer hard but does that hurt the Vikes later on in the season when things aren't going AP way? the vikes have had this happen before (moss, harvin) and i could see it happen again.
  17. very sad to hear about Jim Bollman Sr. passing away today. on paper basketball may have been his passion but being involved in the community was a bigger part of his life than most people realize.
  18. post season chances can be lost in may. The thing the Twins bring to the table is that old fashioned twins baseball we all grew to love. They are FUN to watch again!
  19. or berry could miss the NCAA tourney in back to back years.....
  20. Dude, just admit it. You made an ill timed joke less than 6 hrs after it happened. Take your licks like a man and just apologize. You look like an idiot trying to justify what you wrote. You probably wouldn't have been blasted about the "joke" if you didn't post it so soon.
  21. I agree, it's AP's fault not anyone else's. I guess the Vikes called his bluff and he is going all in... As the GM of the Vikings, do you let him retire or do you trade him away and get something in return?
  22. So now AP is thinking about retiring instead of going to MN.....this thing won't go away!!!!
  23. I wouldn't even waste my breath speaking to him on it...
  24. you are grasping for anything and everything......
