It's easy to say bandwagon fans because there are. Do you go on their message boards to give them some moral lecture on how to behave? No one here is saying that we associate with them. As a matter of fact, I am willing to bet that those bad apples that we have are even on the message board. Also, us fans are not superman, we cannot be everywhere to protect little susie!

VGK have them, the Wild, Blackhawks, Kings, Rangers, etc... all have those fans that act stupid. You are basing your argument on a team who is in year two of their existence and of your experience of only going to hockey game in Vegas, no where else. Pretty much a one sided lecture on how much better you and the rest of the bandwagon VGK fans are than everyone else. Again, no one is defending the actions of the small idiots that do this sort of thing but everyone is so immune to it that its not that big of a deal to regular fans who travel to watch hockey in other areas. Maybe if you left your small area of Las Vegas and checked out hockey you would see that VGK or any other team acts the same way.

Considering your name is boozehound, I don't take your comments 100% seriously but I'll respond. Every fan base has "bad fans", that is a given. Gopher fans are no better than UND fans. I have seen many Gopher fans cuss out the refs and yell obscenities towards the players in front of children. My wife and I have even been threatened at the Final Five in the past by Gopher fans, I've also witnessed it (especially with the younger crowd). So please, don't stand on a soapbox and pound your chest as being holier than thou because you are not. The fact that you came to a fan forum to "chastise" us, just shows that you are here to be a troll but you are also part of a fan base that is just as (or at times worse) than any other fan base in the country.

The school may have made their regular season jersey order before the Adidas contract was signed but they still have to finish out their CCM contract. Also, I would be willing to bet that the Vegas jerseys and the 58-59 jerseys have been in the works for a long time. So I would be willing to bet they accounted for them when ordering.

No the REA would not be paying for the jerseys. The University (a.k.a the STATE) are the ones footing the bill, hence why it is going to scholarships.

I wouldn't say zero chance because UND needs to use the logo to keep it's TM licence current. Since it wont be used in a game (only during warm-ups) I could see them using something Sioux related especially with its biggest donors being in Vegas. On the other hand, I understand why one would say there is no chance that UND uses it due to UND wanting to move away from the Sioux name all together.

All I can say is that there is confidentiality contracts signed that prohibit the early release of the jerseys. So I honestly do not know what they will look like. I imagine that they will have some reference to the Sioux nickname.

UND is actually wearing specialty jerseys during warm up and selling them off at the arena.

I doubt Mauer would go anywhere else but I could be wrong. He would have to take a huge pay cut (dang near veterans minimum) to get with another team. I do not see any other team wasting a spot for a guy who cannot hit for power and hits singles. Mauer has been a great baseball player and I'm sure he will eventually get a call to the HofF but his career is more than likely done.

There are a lot of quality managers that are going to be available. Molitor never could manage a lineup or a bullpen very well and thus he overachieved last year. The Twins have stayed in the family for a long time, its time to go outside and bring new blood in.

If you ever send in jerseys to EPS again, send them in the early spring/start of summer.

You sent it at quite possibly the worst time for them. They are currently preparing all their college, NHL, and AHL jerseys. Your jerseys will take a little longer to get back then normal, which is usually 4-6 weeks from when they get them.

An authentic on ice jersey it is not. However, K1 made replicas and it is 100% a replica jersey made by a legit company (not a good replica but a replica it is). It is not a Chinese counterfeit jersey either.

Looks like he isn't. I am not surprised either, none of these guys NEED to bring it to GF. They all have other places to go to that deserve it more than people in GF do.

Not sure what alumni you are talking to but this ALUMNI loves what he is doing and supports him 100%. If my child was old enough to go to school right now and they wanted to go to College, I would send them to UND in a heartbeat! The people who are talking negative about UND and Kennedy are not Alumni but supports of UND athletics. Those people only have one thing on their mind and its "don't screw with my sports". To me, these people are what is holding UND (as a whole) back from moving forward and that upsets me.
