what game could top that game? playoff or not i and so do many other believe that that game was greatest upset in college hockey. you could almost compare it to USA beating USSR in the 1980 olympics!

I am with you DaveK but MM will tell you that his favorite team isnt the Vikings....he just does not like Brett Favre(which he is entitled too). He just likes to throw in those little potshots at Favre and the Packer Nation to get them riled up, the best thing is to not respond to him when he talks about Favre. He is still upset that Sean Landeta retired and no one said a word!

so these college kids are drunk 24/7? the breaking of the bench is prolly drunk college kids but the harassing of a student in the dorms is just plain old bullying! I thought people left that stuff in high school but obviously I am wrong! for some odd reason these kids in the dorm felt the need to pick on this one kid. I feel for this kid and if anyone in the walsh dorm hall reads this forum PLEASE STAND UP FOR THIS KID!

well really they have two...1968 and 1997 in the past 40 yrs. but they also garnered the name "titletown" because they won 12 league championships before it was called the superbowl (which is more than any other team in the NFL) and on top of that they won 3 superbowls. so a total of 15 championships in the history of the NFL...like them or not Green Bay will always be known as Titletown!

damn right, i remember when we lost in the section tourny in baseball...we had our older siblings buy us booze and we got fucked up at the lake that night! i dont remember the score of the game but i sure as hell remember the party! GOOD TIMES

i dont think one good year makes your whole career, i am willing to bet that kozek stays around next year! but we can all sit here and say who will be gone and who wont be but we will never know until that day comes.

why hire outside the program? Hak was Blais's assitant for years and when you are looking for someone to take over a top notch program like UND you diffently look within the program instead of going out looking for someone new. i for one am glad that UND hired within the program! college hockey programs are getting better and better each year and with the "one and done" or "two and done" college player its hard to build your program around them. the difference between blais's teams and hak's teams is that blais had players that stuck around for awhile and were more of the "role" player type where as hak has the two to three year player and leaves. is it a commitment thing with the players and coaches? i dont think so, i just think its they way hockey is going these days...more money is getting thrown at these kids at a young age and it is getting harder and harder to pass it up...it has hit college football programs and basketball programs and now it has finally hit college hockey!

it is easy to say its just the normal college student behavior and perhaps it is, how long are you a kid? i am sure TJ is just being a kid and hopefully when he turns pro he will put this behavior behind him! also, no one can deny what he brings to the ice...he never half-asses it out there even if he is injured he plays at a high level that some people wish they could play at! i know what you are saying kvinbe and hopefully its just him being a college student and once he signs that contract he "grows" up because he has a ton of talent that we all would hate to see go to waste!
