I'm trying to find that...saw it on MLB Network last night...inside pitch that hit Gomez on the left knee-cap. I didn't think much of it until I saw last night's brew-ha-ha.

So can pitchers start doing cart-wheels after a 1st inning strike-out of someone now too? Maholm hit Gomez with an 88 MPH fastball on the left knee. Ouch? No doubt. On purpose? C'mon.

Look at the end of the video, Shawn-O...he wasn't even hit by the pitch.

Maybe he'll chat up Matt Cain next..."Owie! The end of my bat hurts!"

Because Gomez knows when he is thrown at intentionally, right?

Really? Did you see the big stare-down that Gomez gave the pitcher after his first swing-and-a-miss? Carlos was yapping at the pitcher the moment he hit that ball...Freeman was likely telling him to shut his mouth.

Absolute bush league. Brian McCann should be given a medal for sticking up for his pitcher the way he did tonight. I have no idea what got Freeman tossed though. I see Gomez, despite his post-game commentary defending himself, is now busy posting apologies all over Twitter.

Hmnnn...I loved the green helmets and breezers with the white jerseys of the 1980's and 1990's...a little worried about those green shoulder yokes on these. However, I am looking forward to buying a new green helmet for broomball!
