Whoa, whoa, whoa...when did Maryland get a football team?

I think everyone is pretty sick of the Alabama/Notre Dame/Oregon/Georgia/FloridaMichigan/USC/LSU road trips...kudos to ESPN for going off the grid on next week's show.

Mariucci can't argue the 'big picture' atmosphere of the men's game while the women's team is busy playing regional Mankato State in the warm-up gig... Over/under on attendance for that barn-burner: 2,000

If the name of the game was national hockey exposure at the college level, wouldn't it make more sense for Ohio State to be playing Notre Dame instead of a regional team like Minnesota? After all, most folks have at least heard of Ohio State and Notre Dame when it comes to football. Those same folks are only vaguely aware of Minnesota still being in the Big 10 football conference.

C'mon, Mariucci, Michigan State and Penn State are as well known as Michigan and Ohio State... And, please, tell me more about 'national exposure' when this year's hockey schedule is already overloaded with outdoor games. It's like baseball played under the lights or college football special jersey games... EDIT: Michigan State and Penn State IS as well known as Michigan and Ohio State? REALLY? D'oh.

I heard this from someone 'in the know' a long time ago...supposedly after it was announced that ZP was heading to Grand Forks, Lou Nanne and and very ticked-off Glen Sonmoor immediately made a short drive to Faribault under the old 'family visit' schtick to try to talk ZP out of his decision. A day later, a certain coach whose name I won't divulge here (but it rhymes with Lean Phrase) called Don Lucia and told him to call off the dogs.

Hopefully Lou handles this news better than he handled Zach Parise announcing his commitment to UND...

I think you're one of the payments that I'm trying to match up because I don't know your first or last name...I just know you as 'sprig.' I have 5-7 others like that that I'm trying to identify as well.

OK, I'm not the brightest guy at Paypal but can someone explain why some of my payments are the exact dollar amount I gave folks in the TOTAL DUE e-mail and why some payment have fees of $1.07 to $2.00 per transaction taken out? I'm assuming that the payments in full are via e-check or paid directly from a bank account vs those paid by credit card which are shorting me a buck or two per transaction...

How about game programs, championship hats, Final Four or Bowl Game t-shirts, etc.? It's sold by the NCAA at these events...I see the stands at tournaments North Dakota plays in...this stuff flies off the shelves.

We'll just accept Heisman Trophy returns, erase records from the books later, and pretend the games never happened. That'll fix everything.

Royal blue and yellow were also options but I'm not sure why anyone would want those... One other thing to note: minimum order is 12 hats (of any color), however, the thread color minimum is six. On the green hats, the 'Sioux,' '.com,' and logo are in white and 'Sports' is in black. That means I need 5 more hats with that particular thread design for an order. There are no color changes with the grey or pink hats, so any combination of those two color hats that adds up to six would be acceptable. Unfortunately for black and green, it's six of each or nothing.

White is not one of the hat colors available, unfortunately. See the next post for artwork...

The Score app still uses the Minnesota Vikings old logo...it's not uncommon given the ever-changing world of sports these days to miss a few things. Heck, the Vikings players wore last year's white pants in training camp...

I've received many Paypal payments and a few checks by mail...thanks to those of you who have paid. One favor, though...a couple of payments weren't attached with a moniker so I am not sure who to mark off as "paid." If you could reply to your PM 'invoice' (and many of you have, so you can disregard this), that would be great. 2nd order has two hats for siouxczech w/moniker...I need ten more to even consider putting an order in - and it would have to get in soon in order to be here by Christmas, given the shipping logistics. I don't know of any Gopher fans in my neck of the woods who are 'bragging' up the B10 conference or happy about the move. This was all about money and everyone knows it. I agree with you 100% on the cannibalization of the WCHA as we knew it and will miss the yearly trips to the X. It won't be the same...
