The issue in question was that the shooter's skates weren't moving forward. It sure looked like he was at a dead stop. Another reason I am not a fan of shoot-outs.

If you're driving 54.7 miles per hour in a 55 zone or 64.8 in a 65 zone and you're in the left lane, how do you not notice the half dozen cars that have had to veer around you to get by you and not figure out that maybe YOU should be in the right lane?

You're making the same assumption that Obama is - that Americans (and non-Americans for that matter) will prefer paying $1000 a month for health care coverage over a $700 a year penalty for NOT buying coverage.

BS again. Go rewind the speech where Obama spoke out IN FAVOR of these automatic cuts taking place...before he decided to come out AGAINST them when they actually went into effect. And feel free to explain to me how a near 9 trillion dollar deficit under Bush is 'unpatriotic' but a near 17 trillion dollar deficit now is apparently a requirement for good government. EDITED

Take a good look at your fellow 'proud' liberals like Nancy Pelosi, Barak Obama, Bryant Gumbel, Bob Costas, etc...in fact, please find me a good liberal political figure who has said anything about sticking up for history and nicknames...So-called middle-of-the-roaders like Dorgan, Conrad, and Heirkamp? Mariucci didn't say anything in regards to a Big 10 title this season - I don't think anyone is predicting a +.500 finish either. The financial and fan support is clearly in place, though. I agree with Mariucci - PSU will be better faster than people think.

I agree with you on this, Mariucci - saw some of the highlights of the PSU/Army game and the place looked like a miniature version of Penn State's football stadium crowd-wise. Playing at Penn State won't be a gimme game for anyone.
