I am pretty certain that's how those were sold. I talked with someone who bought one a few years ago. She said a friend of hers went shopping with her on the Sunday after at noon, walked into HOE and saw them there. I never get lucky like that.

For a guy who claims so many OTHER Sioux fans are obsessed with the Minnesota Gophers, you manage to find a way to reference them in about 1/2 of your posts. Me thinks you doth protest too much. I think somewhere in your closet is a Gopher throwback jersey...#87 Crosby.

Pairwise be damned, I'll be cheering for the Seahawks this weekend.

I can't imagine anyone giving one of those things up...

OK, OK, I take it back. But now that you mention it...I am missing a button on my favorite shirt...do you think you can sew one on for me?

What if the injury is to their leg or shoulder? I agree with the concept of the rule and have previously suggested if you need help to get off the ice, you shouldn't be promptly be allowed back out there on the ensuing PP. Cough, cough, Kyle, cough, Rau, cough cough.

That sounds about right...was that the year he didn't play in the Final Five?

Not when wearing that sweater that somebody's grandma sewed!

We're talking white throwback with Blackhawk-style Indian head on the front and green number on left-chest area, right? I have seen a few of them around over the years...I want one too.

His last-second goal against in Canada in 2010 is the stuff legends are made of. Had the US gone on to win that game, I'd agree with you on the 'legend' status. Hopefully US wins gold this time and he can cement that status. As for being a critic of you today...well...maybe I just need a sparring partner with gfhockey on suspen, er, vacation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gz9tH0z7U3k

What's your criteria? Parise: 230 goals, 252 assists Thomas Vanek: 269 goals, 266 assists Eric Staal: 282 goals, 389 assists (2006 Stanley Cup champion...2007 World Champion...2010 Olympic champion)

SI picks Sweden to win the gold medal in men's ice hockey...USA in women's.

For being named captain? I'm a fan of Parise as well, but...

Yea, exchanging 45,000 for about 7,500 in the Ohio State game would have made a big difference.

Right! Bloomington still has plenty of outdoor rinks and Richfield has a few around as well. I never see kids out there playing hockey...just old timers. The kids are either at the cushy rinks or at home playing Xbox.

That's awesome! Some simple math here: 14 game attendance total: 170,786 take away the NSC games: (28,000) take away HCC: (45,000) Total attendance: 97,786 Divide that by 11 games instead of 14 and we get a new fan total of 8,890 per game or 1,110 below the 10,000 seat capacity, or 88.9% of capacity.

Weren't those the ones that were quietly sold the next morning at Home of Economy?

Little doubt that WMU and Miami replacing Wisconsin and Minnesota in terms of tournament fan support is a win for the Big 10 and a loss for the NCHC. I've had enough of SCSU, Denver, CC, and UMD though. It'd be fun to see the new-blood + North Dakota tournament.
